How do y'all cook burgers in the air fryer without it inflating with blood ready to burst like a bloated pimple

Do you place an dent in the middle with your thumb?
I've honestly only tried cooking a burger in an air fryer one time and it looked like a 80s horror flick afterwards when the burger ruptured
When you make the patty, use your thumb to make a dent in the middle. This will keep the burger from shrinking
Flipping it just when it starts to brown, it should bloat the other way.
I kinda do that too, but after a while the sink drains start to plug.........wondering if I should just flush the hot soapy water....

like a coffee can ,old oil bottle,pickle jar
then wipe out the grease with paper towels so that there is just a film left in the air fryer

I never had an issue with filling the tray/drawer with hot soapy water after wiping out the grease, and let it sit about an hour, then rinse it out.
Shit I am about try this out lol
I could fukk with this .....
Every once in a while I spray it down with oven cleaner and leave it on the balcony table overnight or at least a couple hours.
Then scrub it good with water and dish soap.
Most of the grime will come out that way.
