So with the overseeding that I did last week and mowed to the lowest setting I don't have to mow (grass got long as fcuk from all the watering I did though) I got to spend my weekend getting my gardens irrigation setup for the season. Last year I copped the 4 port Orbit B-Hyve faucet timer
So now I can take some of my other ones that I had before and use them for the plants on the side of my garage. More shaded area so I just planted hostas and they did pretty good with the manual watering that I was doing, but the hostas I have in my main garden do REALLY well with the sun and watering that they get. Getting all of the materials for the side garage irrigation and noticed that I was out of faucet to 1/2 inch tubing adapters must have used the last one at my parents so Amazon here I come!!
The three apple trees are starting to bud so I put down some fertilizer spikes. They're still too young to produce edible fruit. The apples that one produced last year looked like overgrown cherries.
Didn't have time to cut back all my plants in the main garden so I had to do it this time around. Rose bushes are starting to sprout/branch out so I had to cutback around them (this is why you do this shyt in the winter!)
Mulch is starting to decompose into the soil so I am thinking about getting one of those mulch services where they drop it off in your driveway cause all that bag shyt is for the birds!!!
This white cat up the street from me saw me doing an overseeding and decided that he was gonna do one too (his lawn looks like HOT GARBAGE! It's more dirt spots than grass) he put seed down, but didn't put a top dressing, didn't water it and we had nothing but 80 degree weather all last week so his seed did nothing but bake for a week. But was worried about birds eating his seed.
