fellow investors, so what's the plan for next week? ei yo, tito, come drop your plays for next week. and everyone else too. come drop your plays and potential plays for next week. investors assemble. hopefully you all had a good week like i did. 39k in profit i don't think is too shabby for a week's worth of plays. oh btw, those $66 cvs calls that i sold, i sold too early. at one point, shit was up over 300 percent. that would have been about 100k around 2pm if i had only had some patience (100k in less than 24 hours, that would've been nice) not sure why i pulled the trigger so soon. weekly short options are new to me and i am playing large hands so i guess that's why.
for next week, i am thinking i will keep monitoring CVS, and ARWR. i might sell my whole stake in SQ too and buy some options instead, it's tying up too much of my capital. what's your play for next week?

Strategy below made me realise that I'm taking too much risk with my SPX spreads.
As always it looks easy, but you have to do your homework.

Ok, many of you have been asking about options and are interested in getting in. So, I am going to share a play that is similar to one a shared 3 months ago.

Background, data has shown us that immediately after a president has been announced, stocks always rise. This means statistically, Monday should be a really green day.

Although the market opens early, you can not trade options until 9:30am.

As early as you can, 9:30, buy a $NIO call option with a strike price around $46, expiration of Nov 13th. Do this pretty close to 9:30. Watch it closely and sell when you are good with your return. Do not hang on to this past tomorrow. DO NOT PAY MORE THAN $.90. You total cost will be less than $100.00 total.

I will update this Monday right at 9:30. We won't know the exact price until then due to premarket sales, which I mentioned should statistically be going bananas.

At that time, I will share the play that I will be doing.

So, there it is. Your first options trade. Post here if you have questions. Again, it will cost you approximately $100.00 total because you have to buy 100 per contract.

Anyone else who was curious about options, do this play to gain some experience. Remember, you can sell at anytime if you ever start to lose money. So, you should never ever lose all your money. In fact, you should never even lose close to half. You always sell when the price drops 10%. But, in this case, it shouldn't happen tomorrow.

You will not get a day like this again until January. So, please take advantage of the market black men.

There is way more volume on the 45's for 11/13 45k to be exact. 46 probably gonna open over 100 dollars

This is true. This is why I said 46 ish. I am pretty sure $45 calls will be above $1.7 at open. Many on this board are nervous and afraid to jump in.

I am hoping to direct them to a play that is below $100 total that will still yield a cool return.

Also, I tried to keep it as simple as possible. Lol!! I didn't want to get into volumes and volatility. Lol!!

Some would run for the hills.

It's all love bro.

We need more knowledgeable brothers on this thread. The main thing I am trying to do is erase the fear that any of these brothers may have.

For those reading this, you are just as smart and capable of turning $1000 into a million as anyone on wall street. Those white boys are not smarter than you. They are not better than you. They had a head start. But, with our help you will be on your way.

You can do this!!!!

As someone else stated, you can do this on webull. The platform for this play doesn't really matter.

I would suggest going on your platform tonight and just look around. On webull, tap "quick trade"

It will take you to your watch list and a search bar. Type in NIO or whatever you want to look at. Tap on the company when it comes up. You will then see all of the stats and stuff. The options na button is in the bottom right corner. Just look around. The middle is the current stock price and the strike prices. Look for $45, 46, 47. I am assuming thats where you will be trading tomorrow morning. Look up top where it says calls and puts. The calls mean you think the price will go up, puts mean you think the price will go down. Now look at the ask, bid, and last. This gives us an idea of what we should expect to pay for a contract. To keep your costs low, we will be looking for prices near $1.00.

I will give you my specific recommendation in the morning after pre market. Be ready to pull the trigger early because tomorrow is "supposed" to be crazy.

For knowledge, if I choose a 45$ strike price, does the stock have to hit 45.00 for me to make money or does it just have to go up?

No. It doesn't have to hit, it just needs to go up.

Very basically:

With call options, as the stock price gets close to the strike price or over, your contract becomes more valuable. You can sell it at anytime. We will be selling when we see a profit.

With put options, as the stock price gets close to the strike price or under, your contract becomes more valuable. You can sell it at anytime. We will be selling when we see a profit.

You can hold options until the expiration date. However, this is not the strategy we will be employing. I will be teaching you all to sell when you see a profit and reset. And do it again

Guys, as I mentioned, the market is going ham. I know many of you are super new and this is a scary experience. Today is the best day to start. The market is all green. You will not pay off your house today, but you be able to make a nice return with patience and minimum effort.

I will be updating the play close to 9:30. Right now, it is too early to tell.

Because of the Pfizer announcement, look at the Airlines, hospitality, Cruise lines for long opportunities. Those industries can not get back to normal without a vaccine.

Unless you're investing long term then plays revolving around hospitality aren't really going to start really moving until next year. Sure, you'll have your occassional burst during the recent covid vacc news, holiday season etc.

Ofcourse it is a great time to buy low(or take cheap option contracts for way out there) and take advantage that way.

But my money is short. I need to see gains that are hittin withing 1 month window.

Dammit on $PFE those option contract are dirt cheap at the moment. But on opening bell those prices are going to jump. I'm tied up in $NIO and don't have the funds to spare.
