Interesting. I read through his thread and some of his other tweets and the one thing that keeps grabbing my attention is his mentioning of the coming global meltdown. The one thing nobody mentions 8s what does one do to protect themselves. Do I put my index funds, 401k, and stocks in a money market acct?

Keep your money in
I read somewhere that if people had kept their money in the markets in 08 they would have made a return of 150% by now.

Only the Japanese market has not returned to pre crash levels.

The best advice is to have an emergency fund
So that if the market crashes you will be good
Don’t take money out

EXACTLY! The market will always have a down year here and there, but by far its the best investment historically on the planet....

Appreciate it looking at it now.... Why do you like it so much. Chart is ok, or more or less banking on the potential of it? I did not look at the stocks in the ETF's but ETFs anchor my portfolio and perform so def interested.

i like it because it's a biotech that's gonna capitalize on the legalization of marijuana (at least in the biotech sector). couple things

1) their model or the mechanism of action of their medications focuses solely on the endocannabinoid receptor system - in plain english it just means that they only synthesize drugs which have cannabis properties...that being said, they have one drug lenebasaum which is going into phase 3 if i am not mistaken.

"Lenabasum improved multiple physician-assessed and patient-reported efficacy outcomes in Phase 2 studies in patients with diffuse cutaneous SSc and skin-predominant dermatomyositis. Lenabasum also reduced pulmonary exacerbations in a Phase 2 cystic fibrosis study" - culled from their website

2) i look at the diseases they're working on - cystic fibrosis is a big one. Lupus another big one. the other 2, diffuse systemic cutaneous sclerosis and dermatomyositis i don't know much about but i am sure the potential to make money is there too.

3) they just got exclusive rights to play around with about 600 different compounds which all focus on the endocannabinoid system. 600. that's a lot of different combinations and permutations...i mean if you can't create a couple of blockbuster drugs from 600 different compounds there must be something wrong with you. even a chimp would be able to come up with something.

so in conclusion, this company here is a in a very good position at this moment in time. i am long on them. hopefully a bigger company will take them over at some point or something...either way...i think this is a must have in anyone's portfolio.

80/20 percent chance a crash is coming next year. but a crash presents buying opportunities if you have the cash lying around. i for one i am gonna start pulling out by year's end. and when it does happen, scoop some underpriced stocks at a steal. 2008 made a lot of people lose their the shirts on their backs but made a few people a boatload of money. i won't even be in the stock market except for a few select picks. i am straight up gonna be sitting on cash and waiting for buying opportunities. gotta be as liquid as possible

would have a lot of more if you got out during the crash and came back during the rise though. lol. I make money all the time with strategic picks on bad days. I agree with your strategy if you don't study the market but traders can make way more.

As far as to where to put it during a crash, I would do an online savings or CD until it hits rock bottom. then buy cheap

Man I appreciate you being so thorough. Def will look into this!

Good luck predicting the crash though, it’s pretty much unpredictable when and how far will go. This last hiccup people was like the sky is falling.... man I came up grabbing some products that fell 5-10 percent in 3 days. I know my ETFs are kicking ass, def will keep eye out though.

Because most don't do extensive research, forecast, alpha models, and look at financial stability with future growth . They make intuitive gut picks.

I got Roku in its 60's and its pushed past 90 and change was over 100. That and Funko which I got at like 17 is over 20, Ill keep this one until it hits 30 or so. Xmas time will be big for it.....

Everything else 19+ stocks and 7-8 ETfs are doing ok.

Wish I could have told myself not to get GE and BAC.

Im buying on all these heavy dips though. Its almost clock work, up over 20% this year..... Not that it means anything because I was like 15% last year until that Nov-Dec dive

Will Central Banks Use QE to Prevent a Liquidity Crisis?

QE by Any Other Name Still Stinks

In other news
Somebody on this planet thinks that TSLA will sink on October 2019 below 70$
so They purchased 30.000 of TSLA 70 Oct 2019 PUTs (basically investing 0.04 x 100 x 30000 = 120K)
dont know if that's insane or genius
