Hybrids are great, If you have a short commute you never have to buy gas and if you go on a road trip you dont have to sit at a charging station for hours.Yeah we make Jeep Wrangler's at my job, the parts I have to get for the hybrid have been running like crazy the past few months.
It's been an entertaining power play, but US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo appears to have had her fill of the one up-manship. According to Fortune (Via Videocardz), she made some particularly pointed comments on the subject during the Reagan National Defence Forum in California on Saturday.
"We cannot let China get these chips, period" she said. "We're going to deny them our most cutting edge technology."
And then more pointedly: "If you redesign a chip around a particular cut line that enables them to do AI, I'm going to control it the very next day"
But, but capitalism.US gov fires a warning shot at Nvidia: 'We cannot let China get these chips... If you redesign a chip that enables them to do AI, I'm going to control it the very next day'

The chipmaker has been quick to redesign its products to pass the current restrictions, but US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo seems to have had enough.www.yahoo.com

I never heard of Constellation software, but I dont see myself buying anything at all time highs.@Madrox @HellBoy @Flawless @Coldchi
What's your thoughts??
@Helico-pterFunk - thanks for this post bro
I couldn't open the link but watched a vid a few months back about Constellation. If my memory serves me correctly I believe their CEO/Founder is this braniac dude who buys smaller companies and consolidates them. It was a bit too complicated for me to understand but I think folks smarter than me say his business model is impressive.I never heard of Constellation software, but I dont see myself buying anything at all time highs.
As for SHOP:
$72 a share, no dividend.
I'd need to put down $7200
Sell covered calls weekly $7 out, to make $35 a week (based off today's option chain). Bringing in $1, 820 a year.
Would take 4 yrs to pay off the shares, everything else made would be gravy.
Right now, SHOP has a bit of a moat in their space. I could see how someone would consider it.
All but one of my stocks are running at a 90 degree angle. Everything except my holdings in PFE. Fancing myself an environmental investor, I started my position at $27 with hopes of holding it until bacteria and viruses emerge before the end of the decade.Hopefully some of you jumped on some bullish tickers after the FOMC announcement (no change in rate).
The SPY run was fantastic.
Up 40% in my individual stock account. Roth looking good.Hopefully some of you jumped on some bullish tickers after the FOMC announcement (no change in rate).

SmartAbout the same on my end overall since the broad market has been humming.
I held off on my usual first of the month deposit for Dec and am gonna wait to see if there is any volatility to buy into come Jan. Even though I DCA the portfolio(s), I try to buy more of whichever holdings are closer to their moving averages.
