Ryan NOT telling them about the kryptonite injury IMMEDIATELY was very problematic for me.
Just started episode 5... but yeah ... that's some Sam & Dean shit.
Sam and Dean lasted for what 20 years or something like that.

Yes I am. The Flash is pretty good, but I know they can do better and I think the writers will. Besides I can look at Candice Patton all day...
I'm not saying that they don't have fun moments... but if the CW can put action scenes together like they did for Superman and Lois... ALL the shows need to get down like that.See I was with you completely until this line..
Legends can last forever...... It's pure Comedy gold.
But compared to Arrow, The Flash, Season 3 of Black Lighting... Legends need to be at least that.
she is nice to look at, but the pep talks in that show kill it for me. and sometimes it feels like the story is not advancing.
Legends works being legends... There is nothing else like it on TV right now. They have this nice sweet spot that works.
5 episodes in and I swear this Season is Night and Day... This is what the show should have been from the beginning.
Like Mary seems more of a Sister in 5 episodes with Ryan then she did all last season with Kate and supposedly they grew up together..

Ruby looked MISERABLE in comparison.
There is this NATURAL tension the early episodes within this NEW team dynamic
Ryan is not the BEST actress either
but unlike Ruby its like she is USING any weakness she has as a POSITIVE
The awkwardness and uncomfortable moments and finding the rhythm actually WORKS in the scenes
and you see later she got that rhythm down now is a natural evolution
Very brother sister with Luke there is NOTHING like that on TV right now
and even the way she works off Sophie (there is a tension there I don't know if in REAL LIFE she feels threatened by a new actress on the show or these two black women ALREADY got a chemistry they formulating between Sophie and the NEW Batwoman.
I like what they doing. salute to the new showrunner

I don't think she is that bad..... Right now I think she is playing the role of .... I'm still just a fill in for Batwoman so I can't be completely myself yet.
Personally... I'm cool if she doesn't have anything with Sophie. That would be odd to have this woman who works for the crows who has been questioning me for years for shit that I didn't do... just because of my record and where I stay...
To now all of a sudden have a thing for me because I'm batwoman.
To me.. their earlier scenes are like Sophie being like Atlanta Black compared to Ryan being like Memphis black. Oil and Water... two versions of black women who have been raised with two different types of upbringing
and you know what... I can fucks with that..
It's definitely something that I have NEVER seen on a superhero show.

i know they are milking the female thing, but supergirl, stargirl, batwoman, thunder and lightning....that's a good crossover right there.
After the first season... Black Lightning just stopped working for me. The dialogue and the acting just became horrendous .... And you already know the issues I had with that gawd damn theme song.

This is show is MUCH better and in a weird way Covid might have helped

the writing is getting a little predictable again...
don;t need the villain to give the origin story speech EVERY SINGLE TIME
and I get why, but I feel like yo can make the connections later, make them be DETECTIVES to not just great at Google.
