I was concerned when they said he was doing better, but he would be in the hospital for a few more weeks. That didn't sound good.

Bernie's death and sickness was not because he wasn't taking care of himself. Sarcoidosis is very real---I know a guy who died from it too, his lungs shut down.

I'm devastated about this.

God, I loved that man. He was a brilliant comedian---his delivery was the best.

yeah I apologize for that part about "not taking care of yourself..."

I ignorantly posted that w/o knowing he had a illness...sad man....

my ex called the other day and said she heard he died. So researched it and found out it was a rumor. Then my mother called this morning saying she saw it on ABC. First thing I thought was they were reporting on that same rumor. I wish that was the case. Bernie was a comedic genius. He earned that title as a KING OF COMEDY. He will be missed.
