This caught me off-guard. Just got in a few minutes ago. * I will say this though ... I am really glad that he was able to bring his success full scale/mainstream the past decade. Great to see him gain fame and notoriety for being a part of the Kings of Comedy clique / the Ocean's family / his solid Fox series (which really got better as it found its footing over the seasons; good to see it in syndication) and so on. Seemed like a fairly stand-up guy who wore his heart on his sleeve, and wasn't afraid to say what many probably have on their mind, but don't have the nuts to vocalize. As he noted over the years - "I ain't scared!" R.I.P. Macman. You were a force to be reckoned with, brother. RESPECT!

I just got word on this ten minutes ago, my wife got a text message telling her that he died. I told her it was some bullshit, Bernie Mac ain't dead. Fuck that, Bernie Mac ain't dead. Then I look at my phone, and I see the shit from somebody else.
