I don't know if anyone on here is truly qualified to define what acting role is "hardest". Cause we seen actors use the method, starve themselves, gain weight, train, study for years...

And still not deliver to the publics expectations.

The challenge of taking that role was immense.

He was really the first black lead superhero for the MCU. Millions were watching and hoping and expecting.

When he came on screen for the first time and jumped those stairs and that close up?

You think thats EASY?

You think that just anyone can sell that? Deliver that?

Be iconic?

I salute ALL THOSE ACTORS who take those roles and just nail it.

RDJ is Tony Stark PERIOD. So is Chris Evans.

Do you remember when Sean Connery was Bond on and off screen? As iconic a role as there was at the time. To this day I think he's still got the most Bond movies. What do you think happened when he moved on?

Another actor would do his own version of BP. Not Boseman's. And that is what he would be judged on.

I'm willing to bet there are male black actors who are more talented then you give them credit for. Out there waiting for a shot.

Also, I hate to break it to you guys, but BP isn't even close to Boseman's hardest role. Guys, let's not kid ourselves, the movies are fun, but actors aren't digging deep in their bag to pull off those performances. I loved Boseman as BP of course but it's not because of any memorable acting performances.

What I would like to know is where was wakandas army during the invasion? Where was the border tribe at least. There should've been at least an army made up of all 5 tribes and not just the j'bari and a few river tribesmen to help out innthe final battle..the first milage is notmilitary faction. They are the king's personal bodyguard. After that invasion they should've called all the war dogs in. Also I the Christopher priest run the war dogs were a special forces unit led by t'challas adopted white south African brother the white wolf and they all wire white armored uniforms that looked similar to the black panther. The movie was good for what it was but those battles could've.ebesn more epic.

She is a princes so she could've been trained under any ccaocity. Who trained t'challa . What if she grew up sparring with t'challa of training with the Dora's etc. And yeah you're right it was a surprise attack but there still should've been a military to respond.

In the previous movies Shuri had her gadgets but didn't seem to know how to throw hands. Just saying. Being impaled and fine a minute later is a bigger deal anyway. I still really loved the movie personally. Surpassed my expectations.

I've seen the movie six times, this past week I saw it with a Nigerian chick. She said that Shuri by far had the best accent.

Every time I watch it though, being impaled in the gut and then not even a minute later doing a flip, yeah that doesn't track at all. She should have made that last scene holding her stomach or something.

All in all, my complaints about the second movie were minor and I enjoyed it

Yeah, saw that. Wakanda Forever was never going to match the hype and box office of the first. BP is sixth all-time domestic at $700M. Crazy numbers for any film, especially one with a predominantly Black cast. Still, I'm a little disappointed it couldn't even crack $900M, especially after the strong opening. It pulled in better domestic totals than Doctor Strange 2 and Thor: Love and Thunder but fell short in foreign markets.

Don't feel bad BP Fans. Remember this film didn't have a china release. That matters. Even though the Chinese can be racist they are a big comic book market so imagine another 100 to 200 hundred million from this market and boom BP2 crosses the billion mark.

As much as I would have loved for them to recast T'Challa, there are 2 major hurdles:

Due to Hollywood's own failures to give Black male actors true opportunities to star and shine in non-stereotypical roles, what actor do you think could have picked up the mantle?

Also 3 of the most well-known quality Black actors, Chewitetl Ejiofor, Sterling K. Brown, Michael B. Jordan, had already been utilized in the MCU. Who is left?

Secondly, the actor would have had to have Supreme acting talent, strong shoulders and thick skin. The lack of true Hollywood opportunities hurts the possibility of finding someone with Supreme acting Talent.

The strong shoulders and thick skin is necessary for someone who would be chosen to follow a legend undaunted. I can't even think of an actor who could have potentially been cast as T'Challa, so thank you Hollywood for all the years of black actors being chosen for gang member number one
