Women simply do not chase after men regardless of what race the indiviual is, with lower status. I know, women are addicted to social status, its crazy but that's the way it is. We men just need to get out there and be more vulnerable and work on all areas that needs correction, which will proceed fulfulling results. Also men need to choose wisely which woman is a good woman, the same goes for the women.

I 100% agree with what Lone is saying about creating a bigger divide between the sexes AND our community. If the OP (or any other person) on this board was truly invested in the community, the original thread title would have read, "Black women are destroying the community and we need to find a way to help them."

I'm not saying being "Captain Save-A-Hoe" or a simp, but thinking of community/school programs, etc. that YOU can become a part of to either a) be a male role model in a child's life (if he/she is growing up in a single-parent, female-headed home, b) volunteer your time working with young ladies to help them examine and understand their self-worth so (hopefully) they don't make the same mistakes as other black women have, and/or just divide your time between doing something to UPLIFT us rather than always down your female counterparts.

While i agree that all boys are male but some never reach true manhood,
I submit that the same holds true for girls. Some never become true women.

If a boy doesn't become a man solely due to age, then the same holds true

I hope the OP chose the thread title as a way to get people into this thread and contribute.

As far as the subject at hand I would generally c/s with those that say it's all a matter of who you choose to lay with. Nothing complex about it.

My big issue is labeling all black men or black women as being the problem based solely on a persons personal experience with just a few.

The way out of this situaution is to treat and respect each other as individuals, many with similar experiences but with facts unique to themselves.

Even if this nirvana was to occur it would take at least a generation to undo what has happened.

For the record, I will not abandon black women nor consider them my enemy for any reason and some black men and women really need to check themselves with the words they use when talking to each other or about each other.

I 100% agree with what Lone is saying about creating a bigger divide between the sexes AND our community. If the OP (or any other person) on this board was truly invested in the community, the original thread title would have read, "Black women are destroying the community and we need to find a way to help them."

I'm not saying being "Captain Save-A-Hoe" or a simp, but thinking of community/school programs, etc. that YOU can become a part of to either a) be a male role model in a child's life (if he/she is growing up in a single-parent, female-headed home, b) volunteer your time working with young ladies to help them examine and understand their self-worth so (hopefully) they don't make the same mistakes as other black women have, and/or just divide your time between doing something to UPLIFT us rather than always down your female counterparts.

He doesn't want to help us ... he wants to hurt us cuz he is hurting himself
