I don’t see how this whole operation could be seen a smart move. Especially when you think of the lost lives, equipment, money, sanctions and backlash he’ll have back home AND from the international community.
He thought Ukraine would just easily roll over. He was wrong and he’s either going to have to go all in or leave embarrassed. Either way, he’s done on an international level. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets got by his own people.
