could this have been deliberate? always have to ask that question when some sus shit happens in DC

People I’m not going to wait until the officials have a news conference about this. I’m looking at the video that helicopter was aiming for the airplane. Somebody important was on the airplane.

The helicopter definitely looked like it was aiming for the plane.

Actually they do. I used to see Marine One practicing frequently.

Marine One and Air Force One and any aircraft connected to POTUS are under different flight regulations.

This was a U.S. ARMY Blackhawk flying around a heavily traffic airport.

There are plenty of areas far away from Washington DC to do a routine training flight.

You don’t see commercial aviation pilots doing routine training flights near White Sands Missile Range or Nevada Bombing Ranges

The passenger plane that was struck over the Potomac is fitted with 65 seats, according to American Airlines.

This definitely ain’t ideal, search and recuse circumstances

Water temperature is 35 degrees near site

The current water temperature is 35 degrees at the closest buoy to the crash site.
At this temperature, a person would be unconscious in 15 to 30 mins.

Helicopter was on a training flight, military official says

The helicopter involved in tonight's crash near Reagan Airport was participating in a training flight, a military official told NBC News.
“We can confirm that the aircraft involved in tonight’s incident was an Army UH-60 helicopter from Bravo Company, 12th Aviation Battalion, out of Davison Army Airfield, Fort Belvoir during a training flight," the official said, adding that the military was working with local officials and would provide more details once they're available.

people are dead or out there freezing to death if they survived and this dumb bitch is already playing politics
I'm not trying to go conspiracy here, but she MIGHThave a point, although her timing and delivery are raggedy. When this shit happens, two planes were in a place where only one should have been. That happens when pilots are inattentive, or when controllers fuck up. If freezing funding had an impact on controller operations, it would be one of those unintended consequences of some stupid Trump shit. She just suggested that someone look, although she was an asshole about her timing and delivery. When there is a collision in a positive control area at an airport ( that means that every instruction you get has to be read back to the controller to prevent fuckups like this) the first place I would look is at the controllers.

Regret Colin Powell.
