Mayne...you can see the bones sticking out in his back! Dude couldn't have been more than 100 pounds a month ago. As a man, you know when its time to go...this man been sick for a minute. I woulda flew my black ass back to my house too. Read some shit that claimed he didn't allow personal chefs and didn't eat unless he prepared the food himself as a vegan. I wonder what would give him cause to be so paranoid...after the MJ and Whitney fiasco I'da probably been the same way if I'm worth more dead than alive.

Prince joined his fellow musical idols in 1983, with his longtime bodyguard Big Chick carrying him to the stage. Unfortunately, the appearance didn’t go that well, as Prince’s former manager Alan Leeds explained:



Prince went to a James Brown gig with Bobby Z, his drummer at the time, Big Chick, who was his security guard, and I think Jill Jones, who was one of his protégés. By now, everybody knows what happened at that gig. I don’t think Prince realized that Michael was going to be there. James looked a little puzzled in that video when Michael whispered in his ear, “Hey, bring Prince up.” And of course Prince didn’t really know what to do either. He went to the guitar first but he fumbles with that because it was left-handed. He played a few licks, did some dancing and knocked over a prop by accident. Now I always wondered if Michael intentionally brought Prince up to put him in that position just to say, “Hey, you think you’re on my ass? Well follow this, motherfucker [laughs].” Bobby Z called me and said, “Oh boy…he made an ass of himself tonight.” He said Prince didn’t say a word the whole way to the hotel.

As the world mourns Prince and remembers one of most influential entertainers of all time, excerpts from the book, Prince: Chaos, Disorder, and Revolution by Jason Draper are emerging as evidence of Prince’s on and off relationship with Hip-Hop.

While Prince did try his hand at rapping on several occasions, in the book Draper writes that Prince felt Hip-Hop was “distinctly unmusical.”

“As far as Prince was concerned, hip-hop was distinctly unmusical. His feelings are summed up by ‘Dead On It,’ on which he laments switching on the radio to hear a “silly rapper talking silly sh*t.” The largely instrumental ‘2 Nigs United 4 West Compton,” meanwhile was intended as a musical swipe at the likes of NWA, whose Straight Outta Compton was just around the corner, and whose glorification of gang violence and misogyny Prince detested.”

In addition to the gangsta rap songs and dissing NWA, Prince added a rapper named Tony M to his backing group and featured Tony M prominently on his self-released project Goldnigga.

This project marked Prince as one of the first artists to bundle and sell his music as MP3s through NPG Music Club, which is partially why Prince cannot be found on Spotify or Apple Music.

Despite several collaborations with Tony M, the songs “Sexy MF” and “My Name Is Prince” were not widely successful in comparison to his other recorded successes.

He would later go on to tell Spike Lee, “he did” gangsta rap recalling his “half-sung vocals on tracks such as the 1982 B-side ‘Irresistible Bitch,” which can be heard below.

To me the difference between M.J. music and Prince is that M.J. music has always been a staple in the black community, back when I was younger my family always had M.J. tunes in the crib... As for Prince music, at one time it was considered weirdo musics for us blacks and being a true HIP HOP kat from Brooklyn I wasn't about ready to be caught dead listening to that shit..
That was until one day a friend of mine told me to listen to one of his C.D.'s, I said cool listened to it and I was hooked..
But not only was I hooked to Prince music, it opened my mind up to a whole new world of different genres of music..
No longer was my mind stuck to HIP HOP, RnB and Reggae..
To this day my playlist includes all types of music, from Future, Sade, Alabama Shakes, Nina Simone, Amy Winehouse, Rick James, Arethea, INXS, Miles Davis, Freddy Mercury, Bone Thugs, 2-Pac, to even classical music and jazz... Not bad for a HIP HOP kid who wouldn't be caught dead listening to anything other than what everyone else was into..
Prince music expanded my consciousness allowing my small world to get a whole lot bigger...

Yesterday at 7pm leaving a pharmacy...allegedly went to a pharmacist 4x in a row so somebody was calling in some shit for him to pick up. Investigators may uncover that he was given different meds by different docs and some shit got crossed up in his system. Coulda been legitimately ill with the flu, cancer or whatever and then took the wrong meds that can cause a seizure or arrythmia which resulted in sudden death. Dude was old...57 is old as shit for a rocker. The last thing he needed to be was a vegan, they die faster than carnivores it seems.

Prince Treated for Drug Overdose Days Before Death

Prince was treated for a drug overdose 6 days before his death ... multiple sources tell TMZ.

We broke the story ... Prince's private jet made an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois last Friday, hours after he performed in Atlanta. At the time his reps said he was battling the flu ... something we questioned because his plane was only 48 minutes from home before the unscheduled landing.

Multiple sources in Moline tell us, Prince was rushed to a hospital and doctors gave him a "save shot" ... typically administered to counteract the effects of an opiate.

Our sources further say doctors advised Prince to stay in the hospital for 24 hours. His people demanded a private room, and when they were told that wasn't possible ... Prince and co. decided to bail. The singer was released 3 hours after arriving and flew home.

We're told when Prince left he "was not doing well."

We know authorities in Minnesota are trying to get the hospital records from Moline to help determine cause of death.

We have made more than a dozen attempts to reach Prince's reps for comment, but they went radio silent.

This has me scratching my head, because if he had a drug overdose (assuming it was prescriptions) why would he go to the hospital, then be released play at a gig, be shown outside looking good, then go home take those same pills and die...
Something is not right with that picture..
