I spoke on this before the womens game is the same on all levels as far as the missed layups and bad play. I started watching the WNBA because I figured it being filled with the best of the best from college the game wouldn't be as sloppy but it still was, just like college you had a few that looked polished but the majority weren't and it's been like that for 27 years. It all depends on league leadership. Several things they can do help grow the league. Better scheduling is toward the top of the list for me. Also think the league lacks good coaches overall. All the best are at the college level. Which is the opposite of most pro sports. I think you would see better schemes and execution on the floor if this changes.
Prob won't see any time soon, because the money is not there to attract them. Watch a LSU, UCONN or South Carolina game. You won't see anywhere near the mistakes(missed layups) at those programs. Like you would watching some of the WNBA teams, with the exception of Aces, Liberty, Suns, and Lynx. Which makes sense when you look at who made it to conference finals. I do think Fever is on the cusp of being one of those teams. I would've said Sky if they hadn't fired their coach after one year. That team had a whiles to go. But I think Spoon could've gotten them on that level.
You also have stars like JuJu and PaigeB on the way to help keep the momentum going. Now there will always be a certain percentage of people who won't watch much women basketball. Not having dunks or playing at the same speed/athleticism as men is big turnoff for some. I actually think the fundamentals and execution is better for the top women college teams than the men.

The W wasn't ready either
Ummm the whole league’s gay!Whoa he certainly walks ktn the sweet side of the sidewalk
He runs off a well liked hall of fame player that developed your star rookie? Might as well trade Reese now, she is done with this team as soon as her contract is up. Her agent/PR team better force her way out, or her offensive game will never improve.
I just learned the other day the sparks coach that got fired was gayUmmm the whole league’s gay!
Yep the entire league's gay!I just learned the other day the sparks coach that got fired was gay
I said damn everybody is gay in the w
Yep the entire league's gay!
And some of them want the world to know they are gay. Someone being gay is no sweat off my back. Do whatever makes you happy. It's the need to always want to put it on full display, even when it's not necessary. How many times do we need to see DiJonai Carrington and NaLyssa be all over each other with pics every time they are in the same arena. We get it! You two are a couple. Or maybe I'm just upset DiJonai letting that pussy go to waste.
But wanna cry and have the reporter removed smhAnd that's why Caitlin slapped her in the face!
Because it was a dumb question to stir up drama. But wanna cry and have the reporter removed smh
So doing this little skit isn't going to stir up drama?Because it was a dumb question to stir up drama.
You still don't get it.
Yes, drama to the reporter for asking a dumbass question. So doing this little skit isn't going to stir up drama?
Plenty of blame to go around
publicly denouncing racism sexism homophobia and ignorance in 2024 shouldn't be this hard.
Everyone involved should be ashamed.
She coming...
Elle side of the game has been producing some of them bad takes@pookie @D'Evils @REDLINE @therealjondoe
I highly recommend listening to Elle break this down...
It actually covers everything and every one fairly.
About to watch the whole thing, she's right but the WNBA front office, teams and players aren't innocent@pookie @D'Evils @REDLINE @therealjondoe

Based off of that clip, she's speaking about specific assholes and labeling it as all the new fans or fans in general.@pookie @D'Evils @REDLINE @therealjondoe

Here's the full video, the segment starts at 32:30, like I said she's right but she never spoke on the people I said above. She said Christine Brennan and some others turned from reporters into fan girls when it came to Caitlin Clark...lol
@therealjondoe listen to what she said at the 48:17 mark
