Not sure I have ever seen a white girl get so many black folks riled up. CC has earned all that attention, as several other players have too. The women game has been elevated over the last couple of years. CC played a large part of that, she was the headliner. Personally, I never let the outside noise some racist rooting for her. Distract me from respecting what she was doing on the court. People act the broad was on the court calling black chicks tar babies or some shit.
We all benefit from the attention brought to the sport. I been watching for several years, but because of the drop off in men play. With all the stars being one and done. Or just skipping college all together. The women game has been refresh of breath air at the college level. I hope it can translate at the pro level. I have never been more familiar with so many players coming out of college at the women level. Angel, Kamilla, Brink, Edwards, etc. Have been fun to watch. JuJu on deck next..

People just be talking man. Think about it for a second. How many people know any of the SC players? CC is like the Taylor Swift of basketball right now. She has a huge following. SLN is about getting eyeballs to tune in. You think anyone was gonna tune in to watch Raven Johnson or Kamilla? lol. Both are ballers, but they don't command the attention as CC. It was never about her winning the chip. That would've just been the cherry on top.

It's been like that, the WNBA doesn't make a lot of money so they don't really have room for extra players to develop them, they're hoping the players they do have develop. if you don't make a impact in TRAINING CAMP you can get cut no matter what pick you were
