Nothing has changed in Medellin, just monitoring things around El Poblado/Provenza, trying to catch pedos and sex tourists. They can never stop prostitution througout the city, its legal nationwide, too many women poor and struggling, and Tussi heads.

They give out citations for solicitation near Parque Lleras, 3 citations, and you are banned from Colombia.

They will be screening more at the airports in Bogota, Medellin, and Cartagena. As long as you don't have a sex criminal record or not showing signs of travel for sex tourism purposes, they will not harass you.

I never stay near El Poblado/Provenza anyway, and rarely in that area for any reason.

I have doctors, dentists, and eye specialist there, with appts and prescriptions so I am a classified as a medical tourist now.

They don't give a fuck whats going on in El Centro or other areas, as far as girls. Just trying to cleanup the city's reputations in El Poblado and Provenza.

Cali and Bogota again, and Barranquilla when I return.

I know people who already got citations in those areas and suspended on Tinder for soliciting prostitution on the app. Ban is lifted in 5 months, its only temporary. Don't move like a sex fiend or pervert, you can still have fun. Get ID of all women you meet

This subject is presumed to have committed sexual assaults on minors and other crimes related to pedophilia, causing Immigration to immediately approach him and prevent him from entering .

I'm going to Cartagena June 6 to 10 but I have a week off at the end of June and Money not spent since the Knicks lost I don't have to travel to Boston so debating Medellin .....again or San Jose/Jaco beach.

I ain't gonna lie I was out there going hard on Calle 10 no issues lol

Prostitution is banned in Provenza and El Poblado for 4 or 5 more months. They have hidden cameras and surveilance out there to create files on sex tourists/sex predators.

They are setting up stings, fake prostitutes and fake underrage girls to gather information and put them on lists. If you get 3 citations for solicitations, or maybe one, you are banned. They are deporting cats.

I have told all my boys to avoid Provenza and El Poblado completely, especially street girls.

This came from some insiders I know living there as expats...

"So I want to share what my connection at the national police told me off the record, there are 50-70 undercover police posing as prostitutes. 11 of them posing as 15 year olds. If a foreigner solicits them it will result in immediate cancellation of their visas. Short term, or long term. Any sex crimes will result in visa cancellation."

"They will also be using shaming threats of exposing the bad behavior on social media, hence why they’re collecting social media logins"

Anywhere else in the city is cool, just don't engage too much in those tourist areas.

They want foreigners going to casas and establishments, using prepagos, going to El Centro, etc.... They are cleaning up the tourist areas.

Any villas to stay at in Jaco? Or recommend some of the spots.

Was in Cartagena and Cali this past week. Was a great time. Able to move around and connect with the people. Would definitely recommend some of the cultural tours for first timers.

Great places to go for the Afro colombian culture. I like the museums in Downtown Cali.

I will be in Bucaramanga and Cucuta soon, need a break from the tourist areas.

Then Medellin and Cali near the end of June.
