Going to Medellin in December for the Festival of Lights . Avoiding the street walkers definitely, thats prime time money time for them and risky for tourist who mess with them.
I met a girl from Medellin yesterday in Atlanta. Apparently Gwinnett county in GA has a big Colombian community . There are a lot of Colombian restaurants there too. We talked for a good 15-20 minutes in español of course, but just from conversing I could see how dudes get caught up out there and drugged. They are some gorgeous women, but you definitely gotta be thinking with your big head. They know quick if you’re on some bs or if you are genuine.

I have been all over Colombia alone, had no problems. Of course, each metro is completely different, and each has advantages and disadvantages.
