The worst shit was when you got into SERIOUS trouble with your friends, but got caught before you got your stories straight. Then you were all questioned in terms of what types of punishment or suspension was ahead (or potential juvenile criminal record - that's all I'll say, lol) ... and you're racking your brain trying to think of WHAT your friends will be saying in their defense, and trying to match up / line up your stories for when you talk to parents, educators, police, principal, etc.
Stressful times in the early-90s too.
Before the days of email, smartphones, texting, etc. Everything had to be done in person or over the landline.
Trying to say as little as possible, but come across as honest when talking to the higher-ups.
