You haven't hung out with Wardell in years (probably because he was married),but since his divorce he's starting to date again. So he calls you and tells you about these 2 Puerto Rican girls he met in Macy's this weekend...Lydia and Ella.

He wants you to be his "wingman" this Friday so you can run interference while he works on Lydia (you'll be with Ella). The plan is to take them to City Island and then back to his place.

You look at the photos and you're thinking okay, hopefully Ella is a nice person. So, just as planned Friday night, City Island (Sammy's Fishbox), and then back to Wardell's (his lives in nice condo on 5th Ave in Harlem).

Within an 30 minutes, Wardell and Lydia are going to his bedroom leaving you and Ella in the living room watching television. She's good at this and tells you if you lay on you stomach it would be better, so you hope Wardell doesn't mind you use his guest room.

To add insult to injury, Selena flashes you and tells you, "This could have been all yours."

I was talking to my cousin yesterday and he basically said the same thing. He was "fooling around" with this young lady who had a pretty face, but was about 5'6, 5'7 and weighed around 220 lbs. He sleep with her a few times, but "dumped" her because too many guys were picking on him for being involved with a "big girl."

I asked him would he get involved with her again if she lost a lot of weight and now had a nice slender body, but sort revenge against him. He was like "yes," and felt either way he had the advantage over her.
 
Life is funny when it comes to relationships because it seems when you're single you get very little to no attention from women. But when you're married or dating women seem to be throwing it at you.

You're married and like most couples you have your ups and downs, but overall more good. Nevertheless, your son Khaleem is having a bit of trouble with math this semester (he's in the 7th grade, but is in an advanced program that includes Algebra, Geometry and Calculus). His teacher suggest Ms. Ruby McGee work with him at least twice a week (she's a student teacher who recently graduated, but working on her Masters degree).



Ruby can work with Khaleem twice a week from 3:15 to 5:15, which is fine and you're available because you're working from home (the wife has to go to the office).

Things appear to be going well and Ruby's a very good teacher, but about 3 weeks in you notice something seems a bit off. Sometimes Ruby arrives early say 20, 30 minutes before Khaleel gets home so you tell her to make herself comfortable. She does, but...




Her comfortable is making you uncomfortable because you're tempted by her. She explains that sometimes her clothes feel constricting and she needs her body to relax a bit (she straightens up before Khaleem gets home).

Well, one afternoon she stays late to help Khaleem since she has her own exams next week. This time she gets to meet your wife and they hit it off immediately...whew!

You have to run out and pick up a few items from the store and since it's dark now your wife suggest you give Ruby a ride home for her safety. No problem, the ride is about 40 minutes, and Ruby keeps commenting on how beautiful your wife is and how she loves your home.

When you get to Ruby's you ask her if you could use her bath room before you return home (you plan on picking up a pizza and watching some basketball). Well after you come out the bathroom you see Ruby sitting on the couch and she tells you that you could at least watch the first quarter of the basketball game with her.

Your job sends you to France for a week and you anticipate having some leisure time when you're not engaged with business matters. There's just one problem, your room is having some plumbing issues and will not be ready until the next day. The hotel suggest a small bed and breakfast not too far out for the evening and you can return to the hotel the next day.

You agree and are given a ride to the bed and breakfast where you meet Gigi Domai.



Gigi is very cordial and goes over the house rules with you. Breakfast is from 7:00 to 10:00 AM, and if you are interested there is a lake on the property that can be utilized for sunbathing or swimming.

The place is small but nice and after reviewing some paperwork you figure you'll watch some television and then get some rest. You get up around 8 and have breakfast and pay a visit to the lake. The lake looks like something out of a painting, very calm and tranquil. But, you notice someone in the distance as you look out into the water. As they approach you realize it's Gigi.




You're thinking maybe you might want to extend your stay at this bed and breakfast, too bad you have a meeting later this morning.

You and Peter Morita work for the same company and sometimes play basketball with some of the other guys at work during an evening lunch break. Peter can work a nerve because his political ideas always seem to be center around something negative to say about black people in addition, to him loving to use black street slang in a mocking way.

So one evening when your playing basketball goes up for a rebound and comes down wrong and it appears it could be a break or fracture. Now even though, he is not on your favorite person list you escort him to the local hospital when EMT arrives. While your there he contacts his wife, Shion and soon there after she arrives at the hospital.

When she gets there she is concerned, but he tells her he is alright and that she can just take his things and go home. He wasn't speaking to her in a nice way and well you can see he has some issues with the way he treats his wife.



You wait around because it's late (11:30 PM) and Shion will be traveling home by herself. After a verbal exchange between Shion and Peter she walks out the room (visibly upset).

You says she is leaving and wants to know if you are going uptown also if so you can catch a cab together, which you end up doing. On the way she is telling you how her and Peter are having problems since her hours at work have been reduced and how she never seems to do anything right for him. She ends up invite you upstairs since she really needs someone just to talk to at the moment.

You end up talking for about an hour and you tell her that maybe you should be going home now and she tells you that it's okay if you spend the night since she doesn't want to be alone tonight.


 
You and a few of your friends decide to spend the day hanging out at the beach. You're basically just there getting some sun and checking out the women when you notice this young lady camped out in front of you.

She keeps looking back and smiling, but doesn't say anything (Maria G would come back later and introduce herself)? But, when she stood up...Damn!
