They were a 500 team, one of the worst teams in the Pac 12, who's 2-6 in conference
I have been trying to get them to understand the big picture. During a rebuild, your record the first year is meaningless.

Recruiting is what matters. The 65th recruiting class is scary bad with 3 weeks left before signing day.

This makes the portal make or break for them.

What puzzles me about the Buffs is the refusal to run the ball. They will get 4 yards on 1st down and refuse to run even tho they got positive yards.

Two different play callers and yet they run the ball at the same clip. Maybe Prime feels Sheduer needs to be the one to make the offense go.

Confused how someone can downplay that loss and try to make Washington State look good

Home or not, you shouldn't be losing by 40 points to a team that was at the bottom of the conference

Stanford and WSU were their winnable games to get them in a bowl.....and they not only lost, they got smoked and ran out the stadium

I hate to see what Utah will do....70?

Unless the players that already transferred there improve significantly. It's not likely but as you pointed out this upcoming recruiting class is 65th. That coaching staff better develop the fuck out of the current players.

By all accounts, this season was a raging success!!

Coach came in and did a lot of good with that dogshit program and will only make it better. Plus, he helped generate A LOT of revenue for that city and college.

I hope CU makes a bowl appearance next season at least. I also hope that Deion stays the full 5 years of his contract so that helps mature the program fully.

He needs to get some hardcore football players in there. Ones that realize that he is old school and won't put up w/ any bullshit.
It' not all rock and roll when you go there. Winning is everything! People will start to turn on them quickly if they don't win. Weed out the kids that only want that Hollywood shit.

I do have a couple of criticisms, but I'll post those later.

I give coach an 8/10 for his first season as head coach. Wish him well in the future.

A successful season would be improving in multiple facets (OL, DL, penalties, recruiting etc.) as the season progresses. The team regressed as the season wore on.

In 3 seasons he's going to be coaching a team in Florida.
No way in hell they are going to trust Deion with a Florida Team.
Fuck all that hype selling t-shirts, sun glasses and shit.
You have to win down there.

There is nothing about their season that is a ranging success. They have a lot to do to become a good football team.

I can’t give him an 8/10 because he has the same record as previous coaches.

For his first year I give him a C

Prime has done some dumb shit this year, and this was one of them. Why risk this man's future in damn blowout:smh:

Let the underclassmen, low level transfers get some run to see what you have for next year, down 40 points.

You can't tell me that offensive line does not hate Shadeur Sanders. It's like he has been studying the Kyler Murray handbook of alienating your teammates.

Bad recruiting class, more difficult upcoming conference, terrible defensive coordinator and he will lose that Kent State OC in the off season.

I do hope Prime can be more substance over flash next year  . The way this team collapsed after that Standford loss makes this a failed season in my opinion.

A four victory season and finishing at the bottom of the conference isn't a success

It seems like teams figured them out quickly

The only success they had was attendance and ticket sales.

Right now 24/7 has them in the 60's in recruiting rankings for 2024

Did any of you read what I posted?!!!!!

I get how important wins and loses are, BUT Deion brought so much more to the team in only his first year!!!!

All of y'all are ridiculous with these super high expectations...:smh::smh:

Y'all seriously thought that IN THE FIRST YEAR of prime coaching on a new league and completely new team... that they would have a winning record and a bowl game??

The reality is Y'ALL let their early success go to your heads. The had early success because everyone under estimated them and had low expectations even tho YOU ALL POINTED OUT their flaws early on. The better more experienced and cohesive teams beat them and their own arrogance caused them to lose games they could have won.

But overall... they performed about as well as most originally predicted at the beginning.

Losing sucks but they're on track for their development. I'd give this a B+

Not in College Football, because not every program is created equal.

Giving Sanders a grade isn't necessary. It's year one. The team playing wasn't built by him.

For me i agree. It is a failed season. Now if he closes well in recruiting I would change my opinion.

To me I don’t care about them losing or their record. That’s understandable because it’s a rebuild. However, I expected a recruiting class better than 63rd ranked.

LOL... Who was the team built by?. How many players from the team prior to Sanders arriving are still on the team?

And with the current record, this could be a great selling pitch... "Look son we looking for some Dawgs; you have the chance of stepping right into the starting lineup!"

Building a team isn't taking in a bunch of transfers to fill out your roster. There's a world of difference there.

College programs are built over time. With recruiting cycle over recruiting cycle. This Colorado team here is coached by Sanders but it wasn't built by Sanders.

What do you think the primary reason for the majority of the players going to Colorado? The offensive/defensive coordinators? Deion recruited the first ever 5 star prospect to a HBCU, and then transferred to CU. When you're in charge, the buck stops with you.
