He's going to have to change that mindset, but he's really going to hit the portal hard again. CU got a lot of calls & commits from sitting 4/5 stars...hope he can keep those dudes. I'm starting to question how many warm weather kids about to willingly go up there to play. I know folks who went to a game in September & left in the 3rd cause they hated the cold...in SEPTEMBER.
Daddy ball is hurting the team. He changed the OC for Shedeur, but the defense was a bigger issue. He should've made a change after the CSU game when they ran the same route all night & killed them, definitely after not changing the coverage against Stanford.
They were a 500 team, one of the worst teams in the Pac 12, who's 2-6 in conference

Very true. This is the problem with a bunch of transfers. It can go left quick because of attitudes. Honestly, I think he gotta get outta there. I don't think he can get the dogs he speak of to go to cold ass boulder especially if they not paying. They had to win Stanford. I think with the momentum of that win...they play better against OregSt & UCLA. I felt those games along with Wazzou was 60-40. AZ was their last real chance to get that 6th win. I had them 70/30, 80/20 before that game.

@unknownsoldier I haven’t considered weather being a big factor for recruiting. Especially important for Coach Prime who likes to recruit in Florida.

That is one of my biggest criticisms. The kids driving 100K up to 500K cars to practice all the time. They should tone some of that shit down.

Also, some of Deion's hubris is getting to be a bit much, even for me.
He mixes it up w/ humility, but every press conference he brings up how good he was, etc. Even in this last press conference saying that he should be on the Mt. Rushmore of football players. It's a bit much at times.

With this philosophy, they will consistently get players who weren’t good enough to play on other teams, have discipline issues, or in their last year and not focused on team goals. Imagine how risky it is for NFL aspirations for a player to transfer in his last year of eligibility. Especially to Colorado. That player likely wasn’t working out where he was or has a history of transferring.
For example, Mitchell was the soul of the defense but disappeared from the starting lineup and played much less for “undisclosed reasons”. He had a track record of that. Some of the transfers transferred from good teams and had high expectations, but weren’t productive during the season. Outside of Alston, Dominick, Weaver, and Ward, the seniors were disappointing.
