Listening to the first minute of this video almost is not the thing in football. If that was the case we would be talking about Tennessee almost beating the Rams in the Super Bowl or Seattle almost winning there second Super Bowl. Like they said almost only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades.

Naw I haven’t heard nothing

What are they saying?

Deion Sanders was accused by an anonymous ex-Buffs player who has since left the program of forcing his Colorado football players to fight -- this, at least, according to a report from AthlonSports' Steve Corder.

"Outside of the fights, which now appear to be spilling over to the field during practice with Coach Prime even encouraging teammates to square off against each other, the gun culture is troublesome," Corder wrote.

Multiple high-profile Buffs have been named in Corder's report who have come to blows. Shilo Sanders was reportedly bullying Cormani McClain while Jordan Seaton was "initiated" to CU by being forced to fight Savion Washington. Kaleb Mathis, son of Colorado DB coach Robert Mathis, and Colton Allen fought over gambling debts.

CU is Def Jam: Boulder according to these reports. And among media circles, a lot of this has been whispered about for months.

Evidently, ahead of the season, Corder got the go-ahead to publish it. The veracity of the report will be revealed if a lawsuit is filed in the coming weeks.

Deion Sanders' Colorado football program could thrive with adversity

Whether or not everything in Corder's report is true, the damage is done in the eyes of many. But that doesn't mean Colorado can't thrive on the field.

Look at Georgia in recent years. Look at Alabama for the better part of the last two decades.

Coach Prime has the chance to overcome the accusations -- he certainly can't embrace them in today's day and age -- and make Colorado a legendary, and defiant, program in the vein of UNLV basketball in 1990.

The 2024 season was already must-watch in Boulder with Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders playing their final seasons before heading off to the NFL, but this added wrinkle makes it the talk of the sports world indefinitely.

Thanks

I’m not surprised, players get into it

If folks recall Deion checking his team last year during practice.
A fight broke out and nobody went over there.

I think he told them, “He better not ever see a fight break out and you don’t help your teammate out.”

Yea I can see that…

Not from a jealous standpoint, because Shilo got everything.

Maybe he was trying to get him to straighten up, idk

if you listen to Shilo speak and talk he’s very smart, so it likely can be a prick. Be the leader of the defense, he might’ve paid attention to CM a little to much. Maybe CM’s feelings couldn’t take the heat.

For as Mathis fighting over a bet… dude using that for as substance to a story is weak as hell.
Just say there was a $500 bet over who’s faster, the loser didn’t want to pay. Like if that’s what Deion have to worry about that’s nothing.

Now with all that being said we have to remember who the coach is.

I don’t get how any grown man can get bullied. Especially a football player who lifts weights all day and plays a violent sport like Football. I remember a brother in the NFL suing another player for bullying back in the day. Another MFL player accused Pierre- Paul of hazing and bullying back in the day. Why aren’t these grown men fighting back?
