This actually kills the argument he's made against Terrance Crawford since he's going to be the smaller fighter and therefore an easy fight in addition to the fact that there's no one else he can face that he can draw more money with.
As of today Crawford is the biggest name and therefore draw he has available.
Which means he walks around at between 170-180 between fights.
If he were to fight Canelo at 168 or a catch weight he would have to cut significantly less and therefore would be much stronger on fight night.
People are crazy if they believe Crawford isn't still a problem for Canelo at 168.
