He is French-Canadian. But in his role he changes his french to sound like a Frenchman from France. And when he speaks english, he is trying to sound like a Frenchman speaking english.
Its so funny how horrible his french and his english become with those accents. He ends up not sounding like himself at all. He should just not do an accent, he'll just sound like himself and everyone will be good with that anyway.

A other question. Although we know baron zemo despises super soldiers. Doesn't he become one himself? I don't know much about zemo besides an issue of captain america I had in middle school but I remember from that avengers earth's mightiest heroes show from years back when he was with the masters of evil he would give the avengers a run for their money and be was a good hand to hand combatant that could hang with cap. I was a little disappointed by this show I was hoping he would become the full fledged zemo by the end.
