They said when he was on set of Captain America: The Winter Soldier he'd have that plastic knife with him at all times practicing with it, flipping it, etc... he (Sebastián Stan) even said he'd have it with him everywhere and be practicing with it at home, while driving, in his trailer... just everywhere

Apparently that part of him flipping the paint scraper was just him going back to those days and he didn't know the cameras were rolling... kinda like some b-footage that happened to make it into the show...

I talk to a buddy of mine every Saturday morning and we go over the events in the show. I (half) jokingly told him today to enjoy this shit, because we ain't neva gonna see something like this again. Malcom Spellman (Head Writer, Black Man!) is gonna have to change his name to ever work in hollywood again... he dropping too much truth for these white people to handle...

and the ORIGINAL writer of this story line tells a story that he was SHOCKED that Marvel comics back in the day ALLOWED him to to write it and that they ACTUALLY did publish it.

Just doing some background on M.A.N.T.I.S. and find that the pilot was mostly black actors but they changed most of them for the series into whites. Also threw in some black stereotypes for good measure.
