But not a fighter.

And Banner has never really showed that he is a leader.....

All of the true leaders are gone now.... Cap, Tony, Nat

Everyone else has their own issues with deal with .... Like if shit got real .... I can't see who has the ability to take charge.

T'Challa would have been the only one and we know the problem there..

Danvers is too fucking arrogant right now to be a true leader.....

Sam showed this season that he is able to see both sides of a Conflict .. that's kind of what you need..

Also on another note

It looks like Season 2 is all but confirmed

To Sam's credit, he might be able to get the one person you do want on your side on his side,Scarlet Witch. Not sure if she'd join any new incarnation of the Avengers though.

They could have easily made this series 8 episodes.

They could have given a lot more background as to carter becoming the power broker.

They also could have shown Walker's transition from murderer to US Agent more.

They could have told us more about Elaine's character.

They could have gone into more detail about how it affected Bucky to tell the Japanese guy that he killed his son.

Fantastic series. But the last episode felt rushed at parts.

Captain America 4 Officially in the Works With Falcon and Winter Soldier Showrunner

After taking on the mantle in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, it looks like Anthony Mackie will headline his own film with Captain America 4 officially in the works from Marvel Studios. The series showrunner Malcom Spellman is returning to pen the script with Dalan Musson, which will likely continue the adventures of Sam Wilson as he embraces his role as the new Star-Spangled Avenger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Given how the finale of Falcon and the Winter Soldier shaped up on Disney+, this is not surprising. And after all of the teases the show's creators made about a second season, this is the logical next step.

The new report from the Hollywood Reporter says that casting and directing prospects are currently unknown, though it seems unlikely that the project would continue without Mackie or Winter Soldier actor Sebastian Stan.

"We’ve definitely kicked around ideas because we always like to keep thinking about where things can go, but we also, frankly, in the crush of the pandemic, we’re just trying to finish the show and make sure it got out in a timely matter," said Moore. "Hopefully at the end of this season, you will see the potential for what we could tell in a subsequent season."

This news comes after previous reports indicating that Steve Rogers would be returning in some capacity, with actor Chris Evans rumored to be making a return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Captain America. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has since shot down those rumors during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

"I rarely answer no to anything anymore because things are always surprising me with what happens, but that rumor, I think, was dispelled rather quickly by the man himself," Feige said in the interview.

Feige referenced Evans' own tweets in response to the news, where he cast doubt on the report's validity. This paves the way for Mackie to feature in a starring role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, taking over the mantle of the premiere member of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

As of now, there is no possible release date mentioned for Captain America 4. Stay tuned to ComicBook.com for more news on the upcoming movie as it becomes available.

As long as there’s an America, it’s going to need a Captain. That’s how Marvel sees it, anyway, and according to the Hollywood Reporter, the studio already has the patriotic superhero’s next adventure in their sights. Per THR, Marvel is reportedly developing Captain America 4, with a screenplay in the works from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier creator and head writer Malcolm Spellman. Spellman will reportedly write the screenplay alongside Falcon staff writer Dalan Musson. And if you don’t want to read spoilers for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, bail out of this post now!

While there’s no official word as to who will play the good Captain, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier clearly sets up Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson as the new heir to the title. While it’s conceivably possible Chris Evans, who played the role in the first three films, could return as the all-American superhero in some capacity, this week’s season finale of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier ends with a brand-new title, Captain America and the Winter Soldier, and that seems like a pretty clear indication of where the franchise is headed. Even clearer? The moment when Sam declares, “I’m Captain America.” Of course, these are comic book characters we’re talking about, so why not enjoy a trip Into The Captain America-verse and have a few Captain Americas to enjoy, as a treat?

The show was supposed to be 9 episodes like WandaVision, but got shortened to 6 due to COVID.
