:lol2: :roflmao3: What a bitch. Going to the team that knocked you out the playoffs? Who does that shit? This is the softest move in the history of sports. Never thought KD would go out like this. This the type of shit he supposed to do at 35.

Who the fuck is going to take the ball to the rack in crunch time? All these cats going to do is sit outside shootings Js. No Bogut in the middle? Teams going to be going to the rack at will on them.

all these superstars teaming up with each other, soon the league is gonna go back to having 16 teams.

I wonder which top 5 team is gonna go after anthony davis next.
It's that much now. The sixers aren't a real organization. The Knicks aren't either. Neither are the nets, Kings, Bobcats, New Orleans, etc. clippers.

So he should stay inOklahoma? Have you ever been to Oklahoma? Hell, LeBron was strictly ring chasing when he left for Miami. I gave him a pass because I couldn't fault any young, Black man from choosing Miami over Cleveland. I would have chosen Miami even if it sucked ass.
Does Cleveland have an international airport?

All I know is OKC had best do their hardest to keep Westbrook which should be easy now that he has his own team to run

Is this even a real fucking question? Do you think cats want to be in places like Milwaukee? Pro ball players aren't picking where to play based on quality of life or cost of living, they're picking based on the likelihood of a playoff run or a ring. This is a team that made it to the finals this year and won it the previous year. If ring chasing is cool in your book so be it, but don't sit here and blow smoke up my ass about him wanting to leave OKC because of the city when you know damn well he wouldn't be leaving had they beat GS and made it to the finals this year.

Damn.

Lebron James has infected this generation for the worst. I'm sorry. If Lebron didn't normalize this bullshit, Durant probably doesn't even consider it.

I hear what you're saying but this is a little different. Miami hadn't won since 06 when Lebron went there. The equivalency of this would be Lebron leaving Cleveland and going to the Spurs after they sweep them in the finals or going to Boston the season after losing in the Conference Finals. LeBron didn't go to a team that had beat him and played in two consecutive finals. This is a lot worse to me.

Losing Ibaka, after you pushed GS to the brink of elimination may have been the wedge.
^^ I agree. I think it was BOTH trading Ibaka.... and.... Russell (shoot first) Westbrook were the main reasons he left.

I said in the other NBA thread.... that OKC did not NEED to trade Ibaka... instead, all they needed was to pick up a RELIABLE (catch-n-shoot) 'spot up' 2 guard.. like a Kyle Korver, or Bradley Beal, or Danny Green type of player... who Durant or Westbrook could kick-out passes to... when they get double-teamed.

Having ONE 'knockdown shooter' is what OKC was missing from playing in the Finals, imo.

Oladipo is not a 'consistent' long-range shooter. :smh:

He gets (most of) his points from slashing to the bucket & occasionally hitting jumpers.

So the 'floor spacing' was gonna be terrible..... because Durant, Westbrook & Oladipo all take the same 'types' of shots while driving to the bucket.

Which means they would have to 'take turns' driving the lane.... while staying out of each others way.... in order to score.

Durant is gonna be good on GSW.

Because he can kill folks 'off the dribble' & kick it out to DEADLY (spot-up) jump shooters like Klay & Steph.... whenever he gets double-teamed.

It is NOT different.

All that matter is is superstar took the easy route to a championship. His choice. He wasn't traded there. He wasn't drafted there. He decided to team up with as much firepower as possible.

If you can respect that, thats cool.

I just see shit differently.

Its HILARIOUS tho' how everybody wants to give Lebron PROPS for taking a weak Cleveland team to the Finals in 2007, but still RESPECT him for taking a team with two All-Stars to the Finals?

How can you be respected for doing what many thought couldn't be done, THEN get respect for doing what you SHOULD HAVE?

Nothing makes sense anymore.

so who is gonna get dropped to make room for Durant?

The plan all along was to let Harrison Barnes walk if they signed KD, so he's gone.
I just saw that they're dropping Festus Ezelius too.
I guess that prank they played on Festus this year for April Fool's (where they pretended to cut him) finally came true.

Dumb move...he should have signed a one deal with OKC and then did the free agent market all over again with the increased money next year.

And for those blaming Lebron I guess if it wasn't a media spectacle it never happened like when Garnett went to Boston to play with Pierce and Allen.

When GS doesn't win the title heads will explode and they won't....

We also can see Durant ain't as great as some thought he was...He isn't a team maker he can take his place as a role player..
