He didn't got to the team that eliminated him. Him and Bron moves were different
agree, both moves were different. one is joining the team that beat him, the other joined the team that had two of the top 5 players in the east (at that time), and were actually franchise players.

It's on ESPN now. Whoa.

Presti should have traded him....and he BETTER trade Westbrook ASAP.

Man if LeBron can beat this Warriors team any time in the next two years....he will go down as the best EVER.

WOW I thought KD had more heart than this...

You know how it is in life.
You have some people with that "If you can't beat em then join em" type of attitude.
Maybe KD is one of those type.

As others have said, worse move than the Decision...media kept hinting it but I didn't think this dude would go to the team that just bitch smacked him...Wizards were stupid for even trying...a guy with this kind of personality would never even think of trying to withstand the pressure to bring a title to his hometown...his life, his choice but GS of all squads when OKC just had them on the ropes and choked... :smh:

All I know is OKC had best do their hardest to keep Westbrook which should be easy now that he has his own team to run
Sheeeit, dude is bolting for L.A as soon as he can. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if there's some mid season blockbuster trade for him. No way he stays in OKC, which is probably the main reason Durant didn't come back.

Okc might actually consider trading Westbrook while they can. They really need to check his temperature on this one. Because if he leaves via FA..then they are screwed for conceivable future.

Anyone talking that tainted legacy bullshit has just bought into the bullshit the media puts out there.

Free agency is one of the few times players have control over their career. You get drafted, you have no say so. You get traded, you have no say so. Free agency allows for players to steer their careers where they want to go. Most of these owners are billionaires. They straight regardless. Superstar players have a finite time to get paid and establish their mark, and sadly, superstars are judged if they won a ring or not. Look at Mailman, Stockton, Ewing and Barkley. No one mentions their names without mentioning the fact they never won a ring.

The isolationism of the 80s and 90s are over. Players grew up together playing AAU ball. They are friends. They are brands. They are their own businesses. And they make decisions that are in their best interests and give nary a fuck what anyone else thinks. And good for them for doing it. Kudos to Durant for doing shit his way.

And if you want to buy into the media bullshit SAS is spewing about bandwagon – GSW lost this year after many said they got lucky the year prior. Durant can be the difference maker since the Cavs proved they were the best team.

He better get that ring.

Be funny if the Warriors start to slip after Luke Walton leaves.

Remember, Bird wasn't coach the Pacers, Carlisle was.

The jury is still out on Steve Kerr the coach.

No one is mentioning this. Or the fact that OKC will be a chronic luxury tax payer and the team would look to shed salary the year after next. Dudes are in the feelings being all emotional without looking at the big picture. GSW's owners don't give a fuck about luxury tax. They got Silicon Valley dough. The OKC owners do care about luxury tax, that's why Harden has been in Houston for 5 years.
