BOOM! I had this same conversation last week. Most DEI programs are for in house "awareness" as opposed to bringing on NEW employees a la AA? My cousin works for the DEI section of HR for one of the F500s. Don't want to speak too much on him, because I know some of yall on here do "the devil's work" for free.Ironically IMO this was the real purpose of DEI training.
Over the past year I have had to go thru a ton of DEI trainings and the one thing that stuck out to me was the programs trying to promote an acceptance of others cultures and beliefs while acknowledging their skills and benefits to the company/group.
Sadly cacs just dont get it they refuse to evolve and move foward into the 21st century.
