Yes, and no. During and after slavery in the south education was very important to the newly emancipated. So much so that sometimes you had one half breed to over 700 students under a tree. Most black folks didn’t want the government involved in education. I say all of that to say: white folks were not legislated from obtaining an education; white folks just weren’t interested in education until we wanted to be educated. I think the current anti education movement is like the nuclear disarmament movement. I think white folks are trying to stifle blacks from learning which will naturally lower whites interest in learning. And it saves rich whites money.
There’s a movement to discourage education to stifle state budgets and lessen white interest in education.
Dems are corporate cogs with no sincere interest in curtailing the power of corporations. They purposefully stifling the voting participation of black people.
