Maybe Esso really was not aware that the people he brought didn't work directly with Revolt, so Math saying Esso attempted to set him up was an exaggeration or paranoia on Math's part. The thing is Esso's pride likely won't allow him to admit that he was fooled. True or not, the easiest thing to say would be that they were all aware that the people he got didn't work directly for Revolt.
The other thing that doesn't make complete sense is them breaking the non-compete clause in the contract. Not saying they were completely wrong but why would you leave for not getting paid for two shows? Especially if you were aware Revolt maybe interested in picking up the show and according to you Revolt viewed them all as the product they were interested in.
I think Esso may also said, they technically never signed Math's contract. If this is why they started their own pod again, it makes sense as far as allegedly breaking the contract. Unfortunately, this also means Math was not obligated to include you in the new Revolt deal. Also, Revolt giving Math 2 million means they didn't value Esso the way he is claiming. Maybe Revolt was not aware of them no longer being a part of the show, but it's not likely.
