Ex-Porn Stars In Their New Lives After Porn

How many porn stars have made videos about why or why they didn't leave porn? I know Obsession did an interview years ago when she was still in the industry about how things are in behind the scenes.
Anya Ivy posted a long ass video about why she quit and the pain her body was in from too many scenes. Now she is selling new scenes on OF. Its all about the $$$.

Can't find much on her--she's in the wind now...

Actress Tracy Reed was born October 28, 1949 in Fort Benning, Georgia. Leading lady Tracy Reed received her first major professional break when she was hired as one of the ensemble players for the 1969 TV anthology Love, American Style.

This led to Reed’s being cast as Corey Bratter in the all-black, weekly-series version of Neil Simon’s Barefoot in the Park (1970). Two decades later, she co-starred as Charlotte Anderson in Knot’s Landing (1990-91).

In between her series assignments, Tracy Reed appeared in several theatrical and made-for-TV movies; she owns the dubious distinction of having played opposite both Bill Cosby (in 1978’s Top Secret) and O.J. Simpson (in 1983’s Cocaine and Blue Eyes). Tracy Reed should not be confused with the British actress of the same name. According to Bing.
Been in the wind for years. I've been trying to get anything on her for at least 10-15 years lol

Teri was also in Predator 2(penthouse scene)

Misty Stone appeared in a episode of The Shield(and got merked in it i think)

Nina Hartley was in Boogie Nights
Heather Hunter was a Soul Train dancer till Don Cornelius was made aware of her other life, and asked her to stop appearing on screen. She was in American Gangster though.

Is she fucking in the OF vids? I can see how OF is less strenuous since she can basically stick to her own schedule and activity level.

Don was aware of her other life for a long time and didn't care. She said he was forced to gently (and reluctantly) ask her to fall back when the sponsors found out and started making trouble.

Doing scenes on OF is a completely different world from shooting in the industry. You have more control over your partners, over the setting, over the tone and pace of the scene, over the positions, over when you wanna fuck and how much you wanna fuck... over everything. I mean, I just recently watched the scene that made Jessie Rogers quit the industry. It was one of those Kink dot com super rough 5-man gangbangs. Some of those dudes looked like they were literally trying to murder her! Banging her head on the hardwood floor... lifting her off the ground by her neck like the Terminator, choking her out really viciousy.... There's a lot of real pain porn chicks go through.

And even if we're not talking about the explicitly ultraviolent stuff, just some of the positions that the girls have to assume in order to make it look good for the camera are kinda unnatural and extremely uncomfortable. And you gotta hold those positions for a long time while the director moves the camera around... it's not easy.

All about the beholder... I need to get my pimeyes checked but for dogon sure if the opportunity was there you would wax
Nah, nothing about her is sexually appealing to me, she looks like a welfare baby that grew up. Not knocking you though lol enjoy the leftover scraps

I sure will enjoy.... All about the beholder
..... And ni__@s quick to talk about stuff like that but at the same time figuring out how they can wax without being seen.... Lol

That's right. No porn star has ever "crossed over." That implies you have a new career in mainstream.
Everything else is a cameo because you have preceding fame.
Look up "professional wrestlers who crossed over into film" and you'll find more than The Rock, John Cena, and Bautista even though they're the only three I can think of who truly made a career out of acting.

Certainly neither Roddy Piper, Andre the Giant, Steve Austin, nor even Hulk Hogan have ever had a "career in mainstream" yet they're considered to have crossed over into acting nonetheless.

So if you want to continue these semantic games, let's do it because this is my cup of tea. I have analogies and examples for days muffucka.

She basically deleted herself off the internet after her government name got out: wiped her mainstream modeling pages, her YouTube, everything. Seems she was a pretty serious scholar and I guess she did porn to make money for school I guess, but somehow I feel like there was something deeper there. Like, if she wanted to do porn, she is beautiful enough, sexy enough to have been snapped up in a second by Brazzers, Bang Bros, Vixen, all the most "prestigious" or "classiest" porn companies. Yet she decided to shoot exclusively for some of the most fringe, most ghetto, most degrading porn brands possible.

Did she think that sticking to the fringes would be more obscure, make it less likely that a lot of people would see it? Or did she have some deep desire to be ritually humiliated? She did Ghetto Gaggers THREE times and she seemed to really enjoy being abused by them. And it's all the more bizarre when you contrast it with her attitude on her modeling pages where she seemed kind of stuck up and was saying that if anybody even *asks* her if she shoots nude, they're gonna get blocked and cursed out. And she went on long spiels about how much she respects herself and demands respect from others and she's not that kind of girl blah blah blah

Anyway... I think she wanted to be degraded. If it were just money, I don't know why she couldn't have just done OF or some camming or done some sugaring (yes, it is much easier to do that now). or even just found some of these rich, self-hating paypig simps who will pay thousands at a time just to have a voluptuous, dark-skinned black woman be mean to them on Twitter.
I love this chick. Tall, pretty, smart. Very sexy.
From what you described, it sounds like she picked obscure companies because she thought there would be less distribution and fewer people would see it.
We all know there is no such thing.

I think a lot those chicks who do GG want to be degraded. I really don't believe they were tricked for the most part or that they couldn't find other work in the adult field.

Nice try. Professional wrestling is not porn.

It's not film either which is the important part here. Wrestlers have careers in, you guessed it, professional wrestling. When they star in a film, they're considered to have "crossed over."

This isn't difficult to understand.

It is diffiicult to understand because it's a falsehood. We're talking about PORN.
You can't cross over from "acting" to "acting." Professional wresting, playing your character, is actually pretty good acting training, like being on a soap opera. It's ACTING. Those aren't even real fights. They're scripted.
Actors don't "cross over" in the same way a porn star would. Actors try to move from tv to films but that is NOT the same as fucking on camera.
PORN: Fake name, explicit sex, big stigma. THAT would be a crossover, but it's never happened.
Who? Ginger Lynn? Only A-list things she did were NYPD Blue and Silk Stalkings. The rest were D-grade horror and nudie films and Skinemax but a lot of porn stars do those.
Sasha Grey? Thought she was going to be a mainstream star because Soderburgh put her in a mainstream movie, The Girlfriend Experience, but she got such bad reviews that was it.
If a porn star appears in something as a hooker or a stripper, not really a "cross over" just a willingness to do nudity.
A real "cross over" would be a regular role, no nudity involved, just acting. Could some do it? Some porn stars, men and women, can act. In the 70s that's how a lot of them started out, as mainstream actors. Jamie Gillis, Harry Reems. But no big studios or networks would hire them for that now. Too much bad publicity. Won't play in the South.
In Japan, no stigma. A porn star can quit porn, keep her porn name, get main stream jobs, and it's perfectly acceptable.
So, a porn "cross over" is not the same as a wrestler doing a movie.

Maitland Ward (and to a lesser extent Jamiee Foxxworth) is a good example of this..

I mean, the chick people brought up that’s in euphoria crossed over lol and it worked out because that show is all about sex, drugs and the gen z experience. That age group empowers “sex workers” and doesn’t look down on them either. Things like that might be able to normalize porn and remove the stigma if more situations like that happen

NOBODY is "tricked" into doing Ghetto Gaggers. Yeah, a few chicks have tried to claim they didn't know what was going to happen, or even that they were literally "raped" on camera. But the fact that GG has been running without a hitch for two decades puts the lie to those claims. Everybody involved with those productions would have been in jail by now if they were doing the shit they do without airtight contracts explaining the terms of the performance to the performers, and also probably video evidence that all participants were briefed on what is going to happen.

I do think it is possible that some do it because they can't get other porn work, though. Not sure where GG is based, I always got the sense (at least in the earlier days) that they were in New York? For NYC hoodrats who aren't serious about porn (or not attractive enough) to fly all the way to LA or Miami to get into the major leagues... for ghetto strippers who just need to make rent this week, or to buy some H... I can imagine that GG could be seen as a convenient local option.
