People would have loved Floyd his whole career if he fought like this every fight but the only reason he fought like this is because he did not respect Conor McGregor whatsoever. Floyd never takes chances and to knock someone out you have to take them Go ask Manny Pacquiao .

Fuck what anyone says it was a great fight

Both dudes came ready to fight with a game plan no excuses

Floyd the triple winner..

1 he bought the fight to him all those folks saying he was gonna run the whole fight can eat their words ..

2 he is forty years old fighting a much younger. Taller fighter with s reach and known for his punching power. And out classes him.

3. He stays money Mayweather and will be able to keep the irs off his ass without having to touch his overseas accounts.

He also repped boxing well.. Made boxers around the world stand a little taller.

And he just moved way up the ladder on the pound for pound g.o.a.t list.

Now McGregor could take his hammer fist

Punching ass back where he belong in mma land...
Give him props though he did a helluva job selling the fight. ..

I found it entertaining and not just because I didn't pay for it....

Lol...

I may try this too fam. I'll try to find the thread for this and do some research. Do you mind if I hit you up on here if I have questions?

read the first 100 pages @ least...just to get a very basic sense...after that you'll ask more specific questions and cats (myself included) will be more than willing to help/answer you...a crash course can't be done in one post...it's not easy $$$ exactly but it's been easier than anything else I've ever done

Connor looked decent in there. It's interesting that people keep treating a 40-year old Mayweather with a damn near 2 year layoff to be sharp. Dude did what he had to do but he isn't bionic. Age catches up to us all - people are saying Floyd ducking GGG at his current age and physical state are crazy. He isn't the best 147lb fighter right now. Thurman and Spence may have gotten him tonight, depending on what style he used.

Honestly I think Jon Jones had the talent inside him to be greatest, he could have been the first MMA fighter to beat a high caliber boxer, but he's his own worst enemy:smh:

Not even, Jones' boxing game is remedial at best. His reach is what he has going for him, a real boxer would close the distance, stay on the inside, and smother Jones.....

This fight should put all that shit to bed. Two different lanes.

^^^glad you said it before I could. Jones not a boxer.

I know that JBJ expertise in the cage is not boxing but I'm saying that he has the ability to pick it up faster and better than Conor... from what his teammates are saying , you show him something once and he'll be able to use it in a fight right away...

It's easier said than done... Klitscho stayed champion for 10 years just because of his reach advantage.

People think Floyd career was only the last 7 years. He been in it 20 years. He has knockouts but just like MJ stopped dunking his last 3 years same thing. I know I don't do what I did at 33 now at 43. Its impossible, and its foolish to think you wont have to adjust as you get older. The way I get money has changed, the way I govern my home, the way I sex, the way I use my time. SAME thing.

He was a KO artist until he started working at 147 after the Sharmba Mitchell fight. Two things you noticed with Floyd at 147 and 154lbs: he was always outweighed by about 10-15lbs at least and he never got close to 154 lbs when he fought at jr middle.

People will not do their history... Us especially.

I had the fight a tiny bit closer than what the Judges scored it. Conor most definitely won that 2nd Round but that's about where I differ. Whomever said they scored round 9 a 10-8 round, looks like you were spot on.

People are giving Conor so much props and they don't seem to realize that Foyd changing his style up like that is supreme disrespect o Conor's boxing abilities..saying he landed more than Pacquiao like thats some sort of achievement...Floyd respected the hell out of Pacman so put in a lot of work to make sure Pacman didn't catch him...Floyd made the Pacquiao fight look easy but that fight was very hard for Floyd in terms of the discipline and mental concentration to stay just out of range and neutralize Pacman offense...casual fans don't understand how good you have to be to make a Pacquiao fight look "easy"

Floyd has a freakishly long range for a man his height...Conor is one inch taller than Floyd but has a 2 inch reach advantage...I will give Conor's team credit for having him fight "tall" which took advantage of that reach...he also honestly competed and tried to win...thats about it...all this praise he is getting are essentially participation trophies...the fight lasted about 2 or 3 rounds longer than I thought it would...it was obvious Floyd could have taken him out with a body shot once Conor got gassed...clearly he didn't to make the fight last a little longer

"White hype-itis" is giving Conor more props than he deserves and is ironically making casuals appreciate Floyd more when he toned down the actual boxing skill
