The MMA crowd is being silly. There was some X factor tk this fight - enough to where I wanted to see it. But it wasn't close. Conor was outclassed by a 40 year old man and the difference was very obvious. Once the fight started I wasn't worried about any of if. Theyre talking about Conors early rounds and trying to make it SEEM like it was close. He was never a threat and I knew he would gas after the 3rd. Conor wilted and showed that he is a lot of talk and relies more at mental tricks in excess sometimes. Now that he's 2-2 in his last four fights, it'd obvious his decline is right around the corner. Props to him for getting all he could put of the game super fast.
Best fight ever. I'm just disappointed with the ref for not letting Floyd beat him to the mat. Especially after all those rabbit punches to the back of the head.
Two of those score cards are bullshit though. McGregor won the first three rounds but after that he didn't win a single round. I don't know how you can give those rounds to Floyd when he didn't even punch. It was clear he was carrying the nigga to please the fansI had the fight a tiny bit closer than what the Judges scored it. Conor most definitely won that 2nd Round but that's about where I differ. Whomever said they scored round 9 a 10-8 round, looks like you were spot on.

I started listening to MMA recap and it sounded like Fox News. No context. Connor landed more than Pacquaio! connor fought the best boxer today and landed! Every commentator has an angle. I know this. But very few have actually given a rationale review of the fight.
- Connor fought pretty well, especially for his first pro fight
- Floyd did not fight in his typical style at 147/154 an instead fought in the high guard while walking directly to Connor
- Connor landed a lot more (only 26%) mostly (in my opinion) because of Floyd's style, his age and his 2 year inactivity. Floyd did not take those chances against Canelo or Pacq
- Connor outweighed Floyd by about 20-25 lbs
- Connor is in his prime. He cannot fuck wit in prime 147/154 lb boxers. He also couldn't fuck wit an in prime Mayweather
- No, Mayweather could not fuck wit Connor in the MMA.
- Anyone that you hear call Mayweather at 40 years old the best boxer now is an idiot
I rewatched the fight and I give Conor 3 rds because Floyd hardly punched. However in rd 5 it was over, around the 2:21 mark, Conor was looking at the time.
I do wonder if Conor was weighed the day of the fight he did seem a lot bigger.

Anytime Floyd stands in front of his opponent to fight him he doesn't look as good. Look at the first Maidana fight.

When people get hit by hard body punches they don't reclver as fast as loud did. The ref broke that up for not too long and when it started back Floyd was fine. Compare that to when kovalev was saying Ward was doing that to him. He was still hurting and got finished. Floyd wasnt even hurt by the low blow (or not ) , he was exaggerating for effect so that the ref would stay on the lookout for it.
