@Helico-pterFunk do you follow Robin Blacks video breakdowns? Poor guy has been going nuts since they dropped his segments on fight network. He predicted strongly that Mcgregor would win. I think he was banking on his prediction to make him look like some kind of fight guru if he lucked up and got it right lol. I bet he's on suicide watch

Yeah - it's been an interesting past year with the Fight Network and their budget cuts and change of direction, etc. They kept John Pollock on, but let go Robin Black, John Ramdeen, and others. Those guys (Pollock and the 2 they let go) were always good on their original programming and panels, and Black's been a big fan of Conor's for years. I think Robin Black's working with TSN now (they are the partner/sister programming with the UFC ... former programming partner was Sportsnet - both based in Toronto) ... not quite sure what Ramdeen's up to. Black's got a good Youtube channel with lots of content ... Pollock does a good job with his weekly podcast ... from what I gather in recent weeks ... Black's looking to get his foot in the door and audition/try out to be a part of the Dana White Contender Series broadcasting team. Unfortunate to hear about Brian Stann moving on. He was always good as part of the team, and/or Fox Sports panel. They've got a pretty good rotation of people across both platforms though with Bryant, Florian, Woodley. Anik, Rogan, Edwards, Melendez, Cormier, Cruz, Hardy, and more.

The white male ego is a fragile thing. You can use it to your advantage though. Get them riled up to believe in the impossible when their hero is white going against a black man. Then give them enough of a personal victory to not feel let down and use that to drain more money from them in the future.

at ringside and commentators had it close as well.
No doubt Money won the fight but the 1st 3 rds
I had to give it to Conor because of the striking activity

I actually think that has very little to do with it after rewatching. Floyd did everything he could to make this fight "look good". he stood flat-footed... walked in.. kept a high guard, etc so that McGregor had something to hit. Literally, as soon as he started moving and boxing the fight was over in 2 rounds.

You fell for a cheap ploy. Money let him win those. Mayweather stamina and endurance is legendary. Conner was never in contention, never in control and totally outclassed. Conner is in good mma shape but as a pure boxer he sucks. It was entertainment and lucrative for both

This is why I think Floyd retires. He wants big name opponents and no other boxer in his weight class can draw that kind of money.

It's telling that he had to go outside of his sport to find an opponent. Other than Canelo (who he beat) where are the big money opponents in boxing?
 
I think it's BS ppl are even entertaining the idea to not count this as a win for Floyd, bc if Floyd lost ppl would count it as a loss.

McGregor could be a good boxer if he chose to do it soley. They way he switched up his stances was crazy, very quick. I would like to see Tabiti vs McGregor

I agree Money is the one best purest boxers in history but
regardless of the "ploy"
Conor in my opinion still won those earlier rds.

You can tell Money was never trouble but Conor was scoring.
No way Conor was going to catch Money or outpoint.

I suppose Money was tired of the backlash of the Pac man fight
so he made it interestingly entertaining for the fans.
So you are right, Money did let him win those earlier rds.
