Man the later seasons can't fuck with the early season writing and characters!

This Iron Bank has me thinking...Could Varies had been writing his secret letter before dying to the Iron Bank?

Point being support and fund Jon Snow aka true heir to the throne. He's

1) Extremely Loyal
2) Extremely Honorable
3) Will rule fairly
4) Will protect all people

and most importantly if you help him become King he will pay you back that money.

Dany has no loyalty to you and won't pay you back the debt the crown owes.

This wouldn’t happen. :smh:

Neither Jon nor Dany owe the Iron Bank a nickel and would never pay them a single penny.

None of them have anything to do with the massive debts of the Lannisters, or King Robert Baratheon. :smh:

The Iron Bank is assed-out, as far as all the money they gave Tywin.

Stannis got his own ‘loan’ from the Iron Bank.

(Granted, Stannis may have agreed to repay his Brother Robert’s ‘share’ of the total, over time... but not the whole thing..... and if he DID do that, it was only done to secure money for himself. Which is gone too.)

Jon once told Dany: “You’re right. You’re not guilty of your father’s crimes... and I am not beholden to my ancestors vows.”

That’s not somebody who would *willingly* pay for the Lannister’s bar tab.:smh:

Nevermind Dany.... we already know she ain’t paying for shit. :smh: That goes without saying.

But do you really think Jon would agree to repay ANY money to the Iron Bank that the Lannisters used to WAGE WAR against his Brother Robb?? We talking bout the same money that was ALSO used to pay Lannister Soldiers to execute Ned Stark?? :hmm:

You think Dany would agree to repay ANY money to the Iron Bank that the Robert Baratheon used for several years to PAY people to try to assassinate her??

Nah bruh. :hmm: Not happening.
Iron Bank gotta kick some Iron Rocks. It’s over.

@grownazzblakman You have my respect. You know your shit and back up your points with tons of references and research.
A+ for effort. Only problem is you are completely wrong! You are just always on the wrong side of intelligence. Shame.

Brah,.THE CROWN owes the debt. You you take the CROWN then you take all that comes with it INCLUDING the debt.
That's happens in real life too..That's how it works if you take on a piece or property, investment etc that owns the bank. You take on that debt as the new owner

Clearly, Dany wouldn't pay it. But Jon likely would..BECAUSE as King he's looking out for all his current people.

“The Crown” means the crown that was worn by the Lannisters and Robert Baratheon.... who BORROWED the money in the first place.

Not “the Crown” that everybody else wears after they die. This ain’t real-life, bruh. :smh:

Right now, Dany wears the Crown.

So the Iron Bank gonna have to talk to Drogon about all the ‘late payments, interest & penalty fees’.

Who they gonna send ‘to collect’? The Golden Company?

If Jon gets the Throne next episode.... they gonna have to talk to Arya about all the ‘late payments, interest & penalty fees’.

The reality is.... their only option is to try to get the money from Bran, somehow. :D

Clearly, I've said a few times already the bank wouldn't get the money the crown owes from Dany!
Cleary, you're not paying attention!

However, they have a much better chance of getting it from Jon if he's King.

They're likely fucked all the way around.

Nah, I was paying attention. I was just reiterating ‘why’ neither one of them would ever be likely to pay. That’s all. No harm meant. :dunno: It’s just jokes, fam. :D

You are correct tho.... The Iron Bank is fucked all the way around.

But here’s a solution... they should send that slimy Iron Banker Dude to Dragonstone (and/or Winterfell) to try to drum up some “new business”... by way of offering them some decent “re-construction loans” (at a good rate) to repair King’s Landing / or Winterfell & The North Houses that have been severely destroyed by all the recent Wars. :D

That might work. It’s a win/win situation for everyone.

Just my opinion.

The Iron Bank uses the Faceless men to assassinate rulers if they default on payment

Renly was the only one that could've sat on the Iron Throne that was loved by all the smallfolk of Westeros. Westeros is not a democracy tho and the smallfolk don't really have a say on who sits on the throne

And Joffery was a Targaryen who suffered from madness which explains his behavior.

Since you are making up stuff I might as well too.

Here is yet another clip way back in season 5! Showing Dany has something off about her. She doesn’t care if the guy is innocent. Feeds him to her dragons anyway.

People glossed over it because they love Dany and she can’t be wrong and we don’t really know the people of Mereen anyway so no sympathy.

How dense are you?

She’s trying to make sure no one sides with Jon to begin with. Out of fear. And she said with her own mouth, “then let it be fear”

So now you love Daenerys so much you don’t even believe what she says about herself. Lmao.

you made that up

Ultimately, Who do you think Varies could have written his final letter to exposing Jon's secret? What was it's point? I have to assume it had to be a huge chess move.

You are wrong about the Iron Bank. The crown owes the Iron Bank. It doesn’t matter which particular ruler is wearing it.

All it takes is one assassin to slip through. The Iron Bank is the main employer of the Faceless Men.

  • So this is what one of my favorite shows has come to.Character arcs abandoned.Characters about facing on their persona's.Characters perishing in lame ways.Just so we can get two characters in love with each other to ultimately have to fight each other in the end !?!...Why? To be honest the only reason I'm watching the last episode because I have to after all of these years

At this point if you find a problem with people having a problem with the writing then you have a problem. This season contains some of the lowest rated episodes of all.

I’m enjoying it for what it’s worth but I’m not about to act like someone is crazy if they’re not.

“Book Reader” says what? :hmm: They use the Faceless Men? Oh Word? According to who? :hmm:

Tyrion told you how the Iron Bank works. He said nothing about Faceless Men coming to collect payments. :hmm:

I hope they make season 8 episode 7 and call it “the debt collection episode”. I wanna see them ask Drogon for the money to pay off the Lannister’s massive debt.
