Ultimately, Who do you think Varies could have written his final letter to exposing Jon's secret? What was it's point? I have to assume it had to be a huge chess move.
The Citadel. Probably.

To make sure they verify the info in the Archmaester’s Diary & to make the news public record, so they can spread the word. Officially.

People would believe the information if it comes from the Citadel. Not from Varys.

Here is yet another clip way back in season 5! Showing Dany has something off about her. She doesn’t care if the guy is innocent. Feeds him to her dragons anyway.

People glossed over it because they love Dany and she can’t be wrong and we don’t really know the people of Mereen anyway so no sympathy.

True. I have been re-watching the series from the beginning with a friend who has never seen it. If nothing else I have to say this show is consistent and what some characters are doing now is no surprise. Even Dany. It's all right there. Of course, Jaime goes back to Cersi. There is no 'cest like Twincest. Dany's dark side has been there from the beginning. Being treated the way she was by her brother then her experience with the Dothraki helped build her inner "Tyrant". I wish I could say I wasn't shocked but I was. I was fooled along with everyone else. With her support system all but gone she went on instinct betting it all on fear. Say what you want but this is classic GoT. You thought it was one way...

Here's the problem as i see it...So?
It seems like on it's own and thanks to characters like Sansa people were going to find out anyway.

The problem is what can commoners do about it? It doesn't appear much!
Second problem is what challengers would come at Dany over it? For Jon? Who doesn't even want the throne.

Dorn?

Im just a messenger in here lol

Thanks for posting.

I followed the links to the original articles / interviews where they pulled the quotes from.

Funny how the folks who posted this stuff on Twitter conveniently left out some major parts of the quotes from these actors which REFUTE lots of their own criticisms of season 8.

Gwendolyn Christie.... about Jamie leaving her...

The scene struck a nerve with fans and with actress Gwendoline Christie, who told Entertainment Weekly that she "was so upset for" Brienne after reading the script for Episode 4. "I know it's just a character and I'm an actor who's lucky to do her job. It's so heartbreaking. But it's life isn't it? Life is heartbreaking. I never assumed they would be together. I didn't think that would happen. And now I can feel a million hearts breaking."

Many fans can probably relate to Christie's sentiment there. While Jaime and Brienne having sex was polarizing enough, it did at least feel like an understandable progression of a relationship built up over seasons. Jaime leaving Brienne — and, in particular, her begging him to stay — felt completely rushed and, in Brienne's case, very out of character.

But Christie said that, although Brienne seemed heartbroken at the end of Episode 4, she'll move on from this just fine.

"I love that she doesn't crumble from it. She goes back to work. Because she always loves work — that feels refreshing, a woman can be happy without a companion," Christie said. "Woman don't have to be defined by their partner and that's good."

Lena Heady... about dying while The Red Keep crumbles on top of her...

Headey said her reaction was "mixed" when she first read the death scene, adding, "I wanted her to have some big piece or fight with somebody."

Despite the initial misgivings, however, Headey said she and Jaime actor Nikolaj-Coster Waldau discussed the scene, and she found it to be "the perfect end for her."

Euron Greyjoy... about why his aim got so bad after killing one of the Dragons....

The big thing in the episode was that Euron was doing well with his scorpion, his giant crossbow — he’d shot down Rhaegal last week. Why do you think his aim got so much worse this week?

Because they needed it for the story line? I don’t know. I think we had to take out one dragon so we level the fight just a little bit, and they caught her off guard. It was a sneak attack. That’s the reason why they could kill one of the dragons. But now she’s prepared and now she’s pissed, and if there’s one thing you don’t want, it’s the dragon mom pissed. She’s going to go fucking rogue man.

:smh::smh:

See, if they have a different opinion & they didn’t like certain aspects.... that’s ONE thing.... but when they start trying to SPIN what (GRRM himself or) the real actors themselves say about THEIR OWN storylines... then THAT’s that Bullshit that makes them look REAL butt-hurt that all their (non-stop) predictions just didn’t pan out the way they wanted them to & now their complaints are invalid.

Misery loves company. :smh:

I agree that Jon should have been the character going through the destruction of kings landing. It would have made the decision to kill Dany much stronger.

I wish all of these choose your adventure kids , now grown up would shut the fuck up -

making shit up in your head doesn't entitle you to say the character CANT do this or SHOULDN'T do that. That is not yours to say but the author, creator and in the case of a TV show the showrunner/producers. And if you don't like it, write something else. The writer of the 50 Shades of Grey books started the series as Twilight fan fiction and then changes the characters and took the magic out and she has millions.

If you hate this so much write your own fan fiction and then modernize it and use the pain of not having 24 seasons of Game of Thrones do something that is creative and create your own property.
