yooooo mad props @fonzerrillii I got movies HD unlimited...free movies HD and movies HD online all to work...and getting crisp ass 1080 streams man...like you said the interface/controls are a bit wonky but once you hit full screen the shit shows up flawlessly...this def should be a thread of it's own...a couple things I had to do...since I hide my unused apps/games I had to press LB + RB + X @ the same time for everything to show up then I did apps only to get the apps...also the apps didn't show up @ 1st so I had to close out 'games & apps' but when I came back to it...everything was there...this is fucking major

Shit's crazy right...

I haven't even scatched the surface of this and there are no Youtube vids on this shit. Probably for the exact reason that you posted... You DO NOT WANT... microsoft figuring out that they have made XB1 the most powerful console out there. I mean there are thousands of Apps that I haven't even checked yet. I'm going to put a post on the main thread once I get a complete least of all of the XB1 compatible video apps and the best ones to use. Any help would be appreciated, because this shit is gold mine.

That's exactly what I stated in the other thread... Never delete the apps. I even moved these Apps on the external drives, because I don't trust Microsoft not to pull some BS.

Want to have your mind truly blown.. I just discovered that Torrex Lite, Torrent Downloader is Xbox One compatible. Yes you read that right... you can download torrents on your xbox 1. I just downloaded the app at the office and haven't tested it out on my system, but this changes everything.

Yeah that's what I was thinking about... ... you need to somehow connect your Xbox to the VPN maybe through the router or wireless. It would slow the downloads but it's still do able.. I don't see using torrents as an everyday thing with all the streaming options but it's just the fact that you can fucking download a torrent to your Xbox that's mind blowing.

If Nintendo made a regular powerful console like PS4 with a regular controller and no gimmicks

With all the big third party games gta ,red dead,battlefield I would buy it over the PS4 and X1


The switch won't even be as powerful as the Xbox one

shit give me the gimmick AND the 3rd party games and I'd dump my PS3 and my PS4 for a nintendo switch...but we know they ain't getting no 3rd party games

I don't see the point of a PS3 or XB. I can play emulators from Atari and colecovision up to PS2, plus Plex, Netflix 4K, on my Nvidia Sheild.

Plus, power usage...
PS3 Slim - 85w
PS3 original - 190w
Xbox 360 s - 90w
Xbox 360 original - 180w
PS4 and Xbox one are no better...
PS4 Netflix 93w, 150w for games
Xbox one Netlix - 74w, 124w for games


Nvidia Sheild, at most for gaming is 20w, 4.6w for 1080p Netflix, 9.1w for 4K streaming. With Plex I can play every file type out there from the hard drive (500gb) or another device for a fraction of the power/price...

I own a PS4 but it stays unplugged and is only used for games I want to play, never for streaming media.
