True! Did you fire the Judge or the Raging Judge?:lol::lol::lol::lol: The Judge is manageable. That Raging Judge is a hand cannon that needs to be kept in the house.
It was regular judge.
Shot the .410 buckshot and .45 colt rounds.
The sound alone will scare off anyone

i use to carry a glock 19
it was uncomfortable when driving
this is not you can put it in any pocket and sit down
the holster it comes with is designed to stay in the pocket when you draw
there is no safety, the only drawback i know of is that the grip is so short since i haven't shot it yet
Should look at getting one of these magnets and mount it in your car while driving.

Did a lot of research prior to getting my first piece and settling on a 9mm. The whole 45 thing is kind of overrated from movies. A 9mm hollow point has the same stopping power as a 45 and will fuck someone up the same way. Why I prefer 9mm is more in the clip and cheaper to shoot. I use full metal on the range and carry with hollow points.

And don't fall for that polymer bullet shit like I did as they are supposed to be lighter and faster. You can get hollow points that will fuck up someone's hospital stay, if they even make it there.

But those. 40 and .45 carry just as much sometimes especially with Springfield. They have high capacity magazines too and you can put one in the chamber like how we carried the Beretta 9mm. I still love that 9, it’s really easy to learn and you can put lasers in the side grips. Decocking and loading or doing immediate actions are easy too. You can rack the slide off your shoe if your dominant hand is taken out. The other thing I liked with the newer.45s and .40s is the weight and relief on kickback lol as opposed to those older guns and revolvers. Shoot that mf and it feels like you holding a brick

a safety isn’t going to stop a kid if he gets a hold of a gun. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THE GUN NEVER GETS INTO A CHILDS HANDS! PEDIOD!
Interesting . For home defense, do yo chamber a round then place your gun on the nightstand?

Two of the best guns I've ever brought have cost $190.00 (Maverick Model 88 shotgun) and $240.00 (Taurus GSC). Look up the reviews on both. A great quality firearm doesn't have to cost a lot to be constructed of quality materials, have great craftsmanship, be rugged, be accurate, good looking, and dependable.

People tend to believe because they've either spent enormous amounts of money on something or it's a certain brand that they've gotten the highest quality and functionality. That's not always the case. Especially when dealing with firearms. A $3,000 gun can fail just like a $100 gun can. Before you get caught up in name drops and pricey guns I'd suggest checking out the lower price range firearms out first then work your way up.

I'd like to give an honorable mention to the Ruger P89. I liked that gun so much I brought it twice used for under $200 at a pawn shop. That's the tank of the 9mm family.

A lot of good info here so I will offer and alternative home defense mindset. I see alot of great small caliber hanguns here(many of which can double as excellent concealed carry guns) but not anything GREAT for home defense. If people(perhaps 2 or 3) are invading your home, they will prob have similar guns mentioned here. When you go to a gunfight you do not want to be on a level playing field with your opponent/s. You want the fight to be as lopsided as humanly(inhumanely) possible. Since you only need home defense, and not carry, you have the luxury of going larger. Just cause gel tests are cool..here is a 9mm gold dot in ballistic gel

Pump shotgun is devastating but not the best choice imho, because it doesnt deal well with the threat from multiple attackers. The "rack" of the shotgun doesnt make determined folks run for the hills, it just tells them where you are, and the 9mm rounds they prob have are excellent(as most things are) for penetrating interior walls , so you rack the slide and suddenly rounds start spalling through your walls in your direction because they know you are there and a serious threat and start shooting in panic through your house. Also, as those of us who have been in a firefight can tell you, once it goes kinetic in a darkened environment, and the first shot pops, things start happening fast and crazy. Your hearing is impaired by the muzzle blast, you may actually be a disoriented by it...your adrenaline dump gives you tunnel vision..your night vision is gone..and keeping track of all the threats gets really difficult. Do you really want to be wasting seconds racking the slide when 2 or 3 people are shooting at you nonstop? Also a pump shotgun doesnt give you much of an option in a hostage scenario..bad guy is scared and has a knife to your wife or kids throat..you cant risk a shot with a shotgun. Here is buckshot through ballistic gel

Best choice (in my opinion)
Pistol length, rifle caliber(I prefer 300 blackout) is my recommendation for most lopsided(in your favor)home defense. Rifles(with appropriate ammo choice) and a good reflex sight are MUCH MUCH MUCH easier to bring on target and followup shots are similarly faster and more accurate than handgun. Also each round that hits is FAR more devastating to the threat than their handgun rounds coming back at you. Doesnt really have to be pistol length but I prefer it for maneuverability indoors. This is my 7.5 inch 300 blackout AR pistol on the bottom...for comparison on top is standard 16inch 5.56 AR rifle, and my springfield xd9 subcompact(3 inch barrel) with lasergrip(that I often carry concealed). The 300 blackout round is designed for full power out of short barrels(9 inch is optimal) and having 30 rounds of devastation to accurately send to any threats more than likely will provide me SUBSTANTIALLY more power in the gunfight than the invaders. I bought the 300 blackout pistol from Palmetto state armory for $500. optic(sightmark M spec FMS reflex) was around $200, and the light was $50. magpul angled front grip was $40. the ammo is not cheap though...cheapest practice ammo is around 50-60 cents per round. The good stuff for defense will run you over $1.00 a round...but if you need it...you will be happy you have it. Also you can add a suppressor and still keep a relatively short overall length and have the benefit of not destroying your hearing when you shoot it in your house without ear protection. That pistol is also small enough to ride in a standard gym bag so through it on your front seat and roll out(for those who can carry a pistol concealed) Here is 300 blackout through ballistic gel

Many good points in here so the only thing I'll add is get a laser bullet if you want to practice around the house with your accuracy and your finger pull. I printed paper targets and in the beginning used the apps with it, but no longer use them. Have improved my accuracy from 40 ft away across the crib from months ago and been to the range a few times and at the furthest distance on the range, my grouping is on point.

Check it out, can save you alot of money in shooting boxes of rounds as you get your finger pull acclimated to your piece.

G-Sight 9mm Luger Training Laser Cartridge Gen 2 w/Pro App

Amazon product ASIN B07115ZZBM
Here's how it operates. No need to buy a $90 bullet like the one in the vid. I have the one on the Amazon link and you can just print targets for free and get the apps for free. Just tape the target to the wall or something.

I have this joint. Fun as fuck to shoot in the house. Spot on accuracy and love the sound affects when you pull trigger. Yes sir.

Fam, get a Glock 19 and call it a day. It’s the best all around gun on the market, period!

Not really true anymore, but when you pull the trigger you know it's going to work

Best thing about a Glock to me is having 27 and 33 mags and them being interchangeable.

Never shot one

I wish all the gun dudes on youtube weren't MAGA member rednecks.

They buy and shoot more guns than anybody else. They also buy a wide variety of guns for sport and collecting. They just don't buy for availability. I understand what you're saying but I'll take information from any source if its unbiased information.

Mine is an Anderson 5.56/.223 10.5" upper with an Anderson multi lower. I've been looking to get a 300 black out upper but I can't find one at a decent price. I got a decent reticle and similar forward grip with the sig saur brace. I brought a tennis racket bag from goodwill that I carry mine back and forth to the range in. I got the 10. 5"barrel to give me a little more accuracy further out. I'm not trying to reach 300 meters but I'm looking to hit at least 100-150 meters with tight shot groups. I paid $675 for mine at the gun show everything included minus the reticle. They gave me a veterans discount. I also have a single point sling like you got as well. The only difference in color is my brace is earth tone but the pistol is flat black. I've put about 350 rounds through it so far and I'm loving it.

Peace,

I haven't really handled weapons since I got out of the Navy (been to the range once since I got out). I need something simple, semi-auto. Something that's easy to use, Easy to clean and the bullets aren't too expensive.

I'm guessing a 9mm would be preferred over a .380 because I would assume 9mm rounds are cheaper than .380 rounds. I don't want it to cost me a grip practicing with it.

I don't know where to look, so I'm asking y'all. I know I'm not the only guy who's curious, and we got people on this site who know a lot of shit about a lot of shit.

So, what do you got, and where do I look? Also if you could add info like laser sighting I'd appreciate it

It may have already been mentioned but the Canik TP9 series is FAR AND AWAY the best gun for the money on the market. Quality and trigger of a $700 handgun for about half that.

Is this only available on the Luger or does it work for any gun? If it's only available on the Luger I am leaning heavily toward getting that gun. Save me money going to the range

Should work with any 9mm gun.
Luger is just about the width of the bullet, they slightly taper. I have it on my Springfield.

Canik also puts their guns through torture tests like HK and Sig. Others may too, but I've seen information on these. It adds a level of confidence. For the money, canik is haaard to beat.

Those are some really nice weapons. I know nothing about AR s but want a pistol length similar to yours. I have a lot of reading to do. A suppressed weapon with a flashlight and suppressor is perfect. On a rifle shooting 300 blackout is even better.

Ill, what can you tell me about this weapon? Does it have a traditional safety? It looks nice, but I do prefer the traditional safety on a home weapon. I don't have kids, but I may have them in the future.

I'm not going to be careless with it but I did get a hold of my father's gun when I was a kid though I wasn't supposed to and he thought he hid it

I have two weapons so far for HD:
A Mossberg 500 Persuader. 12 gauge. Takes different loads and never quits. Easy maintenance, plenty of parts available.
A 357 magnum Ruger. Takes 3 different caliber loads from 38 special to 38+ P to full 357 magnum loads. I practice with 38 special 158 gr. They cost about $15-16 a box for 50. I keep 38+P SJHP ready for HD. 357's are for if SHTF or I'm dealing with a fuckin lunatic.
