Been online lookin for optics......they were taxing at the gunshow for them. Ammo was high for 9mm as well. Some were high as $65 for 50rds.
Thank goodness for Cabela's. They don't price gouge at all. I haven't spent over $18 on any ammo from there. Just gotta be lucky enough to be around when they get a delivery
Recently I started my project to build an AR from scratch that would serve as my specialty AR using various uppers of different calibers (223/5.56 & 300 Blackout not included). I was gonna start it off with precision based uppers and was debating between 6.5 Grendel & 224 Valkyrie. I had settled on 6.5 Grendel cuz it was the more popular caliber. So I started doing research on uppers and magazines for it. In the meantime figured I'd start stocking up on ammo but couldn't find any ammo for it anywhere. Ironically 224 Valkyrie ammo was at damn near every gun store I went to. Finally this week I decided to listen to the AR gods & stopped ignoring their signs when I stopped in Cabela's & they had 10 boxes of 224 Valkyrie ammo for $18 a box. So in 2 days I managed to get more 224 Valkyrie ammo than I have for 300 Blackout & I've been trying to find 300 Blackout ammo for months. Now I just need an upper & a good scope for it.

Managed to catch my unicorn. Copped the PDP from a store in Missouri & she arrived today. Taking her out for range time tomorrow. Can't Wait

I go in to buy ammo today and what did I see in three flavors peeking at me? This fucking gun! I'm like nah, I'm good. I don't need another 9mm. I reviewed it on youtube and said it's nice......kept eye fucking it......guy behind the counter said yeah, we have a sale for military/Le plus you get three mags and the night sights! Oh? Really motherfucker?

How much did it run you if you don't mind me asking? It's by far my favorite pistol taking the spot from my VP9. The grip texture, ergonomics, look and trigger are all excellent. The only mod I made was replacing the stock sights with Trijicon HD XR night sights. Otherwise I love it with the Holosun HS507c red dot I have mounted on it.

$570, ammo is 25% off too. I won’t lie, I love this gun. It’s light as fuck, very comfortable to hold and is just sleek. I almost bought two. Mines came with the night sights on it.

I'm almost done building my 300 Blackout upper. Aero Precision finally shipped out my 10" barrel so all that's left for me to get is a BCG. Had to replace the 7.5" barrel I had previously. Damn thing was a beyond loud ass flame throwerthey have tons of 300 at my Academy and the other store. It’s cheap too. So my dumbass even considered buying a 300 blackout rifle too. Finally stepping up my rifle game to get into distance shooting. Copped a Vortex Viper PST Gen II 1-6x SFP scope and mounted it on an ADM QD mount with 2" offset. I learned a lot just looking up info for this scope so by the time I finish my 224 Valkyrie build, I know what to go for in a scope.

I went to the range today to test my bullpup.
Most comfortable shotgun I've ever shot. It's loud as fuck and drew a lot of attention....
...but the recoil was light....
I can only imagine how loud it was. Maybe there's a flash hider or linear comp that can be used on it to help lower the volume.
I remember being at the range a few weeks ago and this guy was practicing with his shotgun in the station next to mine. Even with my ear protection on, I still felt the force from the blast and could only imagine how concussive it would be for someone with no ear pro on. I thought about putting a muzzle brake on my AR but then remembered how loud that shotgun was and knew anyone next to me while firing would absolutely hate me. Plus I wouldn't be firing a caliber where I'd see any benefit from adding the muzzle brake.
Just picked up my 1st AR yesterday, Ruger MPR. Got it cause it was a decent deal 800 shipped an transfer fee included. I don’t need it, think I’ll try to sell it for $950ish an pick up another p365 or maybe a micro scorpion if I can find one for a good price
I need to get me a long barrel AR.
Usually those MPRs run about $900.
There is another gun show here in about 2 weeks......might do some window shopping til I can find one.
Yeah I got it off of gundeals Reddit page. It was 773 shipped an my ffl is $20 so I came in good. I see them selling on gunbroker in the high $9’s all day an it’s the same locally. My ffl had a regular ruger ar556 for $860 when I went to pick up my mpr
Finished my 300 Blackout upper rebuild. Went away from my flamethrower 7.5" BCA upper to a 10" upper. Barrel & receiver from Aero Precision, handguard by Stngr and linear comp by Kaw Valley. Only thing I'm debating on now is whether to move the weapon light from my M&P Sport II AR that I just mounted the scope on or to just buy another weapon light to mount on this
Damn LGS called me telling me they had a trade in shield plus for $4... damn I want it, but I ain't spending anymore paper on toys for awhile. Just copped these PSA AR-V 9mm and Ruger MPR 18".

I'm pretty much done with any new gun purchases unless Aero Precision finally releases the EPC in 10mm. Outside of that, my focus is on my 224 Valkyrie project

Guys, get to your Academy Sports ASAP! Crazy Ammo deals and restocks! Got almost 500 rounds of 6.5 Creedmoor at 24.95 a box! And pretty much 1,000 rounds for everything else i got! I'm at 10 different calibers and rifles, my mil bro is at 20+ and we got enough ammo to face the Zombie Apocalypses!
