Let's talk .22 lr, anyone in here have any?
I just picked up a FN 502, it's similar to the FN 509 Tac in terms of size and controls.
I have a few .22lr pistol silencer hosts, AR's, and a bolt action rifle.

Traded in two Sig Romeo 5 red dots and picked up a tactical mailbox aka Holosun 512. I was originally gonna get another 510 but with green dot til I saw it was the same price as the 512 so I opted for the 512. This will be going on my FX-9

I'm not as familiar with Holosun, whats the significance of "fully enclosed"?
And whats the difference between the 510 & 512?

Fully enclosed is in reference to the red dot emitter environment. On most red dot sights, the emitter is exposed to the elements & subject to possibly being blocked by things like dirt, snow, sludge which would make the red dot unusable. When the emitter is in an enclosed housing, there is nothing that can block the emitter from projecting to the glass. For Holosun, the 510 is an open emitter red dot while the 512 is enclosed. Enclosed emitter red dots are going to start becoming more common

Finished my 300 Blackout upper rebuild. Went away from my flamethrower 7.5" BCA upper to a 10" upper. Barrel & receiver from Aero Precision, handguard by Stngr and linear comp by Kaw Valley. Only thing I'm debating on now is whether to move the weapon light from my M&P Sport II AR that I just mounted the scope on or to just buy another weapon light to mount on this

@dHustla this is my 300 Blackout with a Holosun HS510C red dot. If you look closely at the design you can probably tell where the emitter is located & how the rest of the red dot is open and exposed to the elements. Now when you look at the 512 I posted earlier, the difference between the two becomes more obvious

Functionally they're the same. Only difference is the enclosed emitter & titanium housing for the 512 while the 510 body is aluminum. All of my red dots for my pistol & rifle platforms are Holosun. They put out great products with good quality & reliability. If they were to step into the LPVO game & give Vortex competition, I'd be very interested

That Banshee got some bark to it for real!
This muhfucka damn near killed himself some time ago. Looks like he's been humbled and a lil gun shy with the heavy calibers.
I was thinking damn ain't this the dude that sent himself to the hospital, then I see your comment

I love taking my .22LR to the range... I have a SW M&P 15-22... I only picked it up because it was roughly inexpensive, but I wanted to test the AR pistol platform to see if it was something I'd like... That gun is fun to shoot, my girl likes it as well... She has a sccy2 so she was hesitant about rifles until them first few rounds flew... Liked the .22 so much I went ahead and picked up the SW MP15 .223/5.56
