Nah, this M&P trigger feels nothing like any of my Apex triggers. I run Apex triggers in a few different platforms. One of the best attributes is that they feel consistent regardless of platform. From the take up through the reset, they are very similar. This is definitely, not that :smh:. The gritty feel is my biggest issue. In any event, I have an Apex in bound...
I don't have any experience with Apex triggers outside of my G48. The way it breaks at the wall felt the same on the M&P hence my earlier post. I'll defer to your experience in that regard. Either way a trigger swap isn't abnormal anyways so you're getting a very nice pistol with a preferred trigger

Any of you familiar with the CZ?...supposedly rivals Glock

The CZ P01 vs G19 isn't a good comparison as the CZ is hammer fired, while the G19 is striker fired. As the homie @cli-terminator stated a better comparison is the P10 (I will also add the P-07). I have a P10 (and P07) as well as a Shadow 2. I like the ergonomics better on both CZ polymers vs the G19, but... As stated, the aftermarket support for the Glock is leaps and bounds more robust than CZ.

I'm not sure which one can go the furthest. But to me, it'll be about distance, accuracy, and "energy" down range.

The creedmore is accurate for sure, that's why people get it. But, can it bring down big game from way out, say 700 yards? I don't think it'll have that energy down range (+7oo yards). I know for a fact that a .300 WinMag and a 7mm Mag does.

Marines (I think) use or used to use the .300 WinMag as their sniper rifles.

6.5? Can it? Yep

And

Check this out

Bullet will go a long way

Get this scope on sale now, it's very user friendly and inexpensive. Will get to 1,000 yards too. Use code FRIST for more of a discount

I see it here in the vids, but there's no way I'm hunting animals in Africa and the only gun I'm taking is the 6.5. Nope. I'll use it to hunt the deer sized game. But I wouldn't use it on an Elan. If the Elan was close say 100-200 yards and I knew I had a chance of good shot placement. maybe.

I'm still rolling with a 300WinMag or 7mm Mag. The velocity and hitting power of a heavier bullet will make up for my human errors, like breathing and adrenaline. I used a 190 grain Hornady solid copper bullet on my elk hunt.

This is a fucking money pit!

I'm looking at getting a bolt .308, any advice would help.

It would be for longer range. I'm new to anything 100 yds or more

Get Savage Axis Precision II from Academy sports combo with decent scope. I’d go with 6.5 over 308 but I have both, no issues. Monstrum G3 Scopes FFP are a great bargain and can reach out. If you have the money Vortex is nice but they have second focal planes. Primary arms scopes are just as good and they have deals and coupons a lot. I’ll post a forum for deals from Reddit

My buddy competes a lot in 3 gun and let me fire his CZs. I had never fired them. I couldn’t miss either. Shit looks blinged out to me but they work smoothly.

Go here and search for what you’re looking for. https://www.reddit.com/r/gundeals/

Don’t forget to check Academy Sports, Palmetto State, Primary Arms, https://www.sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com/viewcart.cfm

I also bought barrels from Zavier firearms. Will fire them soon.

If you’re military or government Radical Firearms offers great deep discounts.

just picked up this SOCOM upper for $199 on sale :eek2: it’s $350 now. I’m going to build my punkass brother an AR. Here’s the review on the SOCOM (1:7 twist)

Ok, you're in Alaska, and this guy is angry af. You have to try to lay him down. He's 200 yards away and he's charging towards you hard. You have to trust your life to three bullets and three bullets only.

What caliber are rocking? Be logical.

I'd go with 300Blk or 450 Bushmaster probably. Might be too close for something like 338 Lapua or a 50 cal

I agree. I want a lever action 45-70
Is it practical at 200 yards?
That's a good question. I like lever actions for close up brush type work (0-150 yards). Like here (out West) there are a lot of plains, which mean distance. You'll want a rifle with a scope all day.

But, in the East and South, there are a lot of forest area where them high powered scopes won't do you any good. There's way too many trees. This is where a lever action shines... 30-30, 45-70 etc...

So, at 200 yards, I believe there are better calibers that can knock the bear down ie... .338 etc with a scope on it.

But if he's charging me and he's anywhere near 150 yards and closing, I want the 45-70.
Now I may be walking away with soiled pants, but dammit at least I'm walking away.

I swear, Man. White people are something else. Why would anyone use a 22Mag on a hog? I guess he knows the hogs on his property. But, there are hogs out there that weigh over 300 pounds. A small bullet can get lodge in their shoulder plate and they won't even feel it.

Plus, he's running around a swampy area barefoot. They have way too much money and almost no fear to go along with it.

People will go hunting and be under-gunned listening to this cat.

The 450 with at least a 300 grain will double tap him. I wouldn’t go above 7 rounds in the AR platform though. Don’t need it to jam or misfeed. With a bear you need to hit him at least twice.
