Yeah finished my main belt a few weeks ago. This is my main battle belt that consists of a Kore tactical belt on the inside of the 5.11 Brakos battle belt. Tier 1 Concealed Centurion Level II holster for my M&P 2.0 w/ a TLR7A light mounted on a Safariland QLS, Dark Angel Medical IFAK, mag holsters and misc pouch.

My Kore Essentials battle belt is meant to be a more lightweight and just has pistol mag pouches, a misc pouch and a True North holster adapter that's QLS compatible so I can move my Centurion holster over to it. I'm making a custom IFAK that'll be mounted on my range bag so I won't necessarily need to put an IFAK on the Kore battle belt.

Took my 224 Valkyrie AR out today to test 4 different ammo types and grain (Federal 75gr, Hornady Black 75gr, Federal Fusion 90gr, and Federal Sierra Match King 90gr). All shots were taken from 100 yards away. Out of the 4, the Federal 75gr target ammo performed the best while the Hornady Black was the most inconsistent.

I'm gonna have to go back and try more with the Hornady Black ammo to see if I still see wild inconsistency

I got the SL-100 and just now getting around to using it.

It's hard to sight because I got it in the muzzle, in a vise... and I'm looking through the scope but when I move my head slightly the crosshairs move a little.
Not really move, but their position on the target differ depending on where my eye is.

I'm using the "Alternate method"

I might look to cop this for my 5.56 so I can put a muzzle brake on it as well as when I finally go out and get a .308 bolt-action so I won't be abusing anyone nearby as badly

It's not released yet for anything other than Glock so far. OpticsPlanet has it for $350. I'm waiting for the Walther as well as the Smith & Wesson variants.

I've seen a few of out of spec issues reported with the Glock variant. Apparently the RDS or the MOS slides are out of spec. I highly doubt that the OEM slides are the culprit. Especially when you consider the myriad of recent QC issues that have started to plague Holosun.

5.56 & 300Blk on the ready along with an AR9. I'm getting antsy waiting for my damn suppressor though. In the meantime I'm bout to get a threaded barrel for my PDP so I can get a can for it as well. This way both of my primary home defense weapons will be quiet AF while taking down anyone stupid enough to invade my home.

Any chance you can forward that info to me. I'd luv to share it with one of my patnas in my NAAGA chapter. He does a lot of RnD for various manufacturers including Walther, Glock & Holosun.

This is the most recent that I am also following.


Personal experience, I have received both a 507k and 407c DOA. Holosun CS took care of the issue "as quickly as possible". It took 5 weeks for my replacement 507K. The 407c was a shit show, they initially tried to replace it with a used 407c (clearly used and I assumed to be factory refurbished). I subsequently told them to fuck off and suck dem Muma!. All and all this back and forth went on for upwards of 12 weeks. I'd really like to get a couple of their EPS carry to replace all my 507/407k. But let's see how the launch and availability goes.

Interesting. All my pistol optics are Holosun & none have given me any issues. I'll have to keep an eye out for this going forward

To be fair, I have 20+ various Holosun products and never had an issue until recently. Aside from the two instances, my experiences has been solid. What I've noticed, as popularity has bloomed, their QC has suffered. More and more posts about DOA, glass alignment issues, excess adhesive and canted emitters, etc.

QC issues have become more and more common with quite a few manufacturers. Shit, just the other day I received a Steiner MPS drop shipped from the factory. When I opened the box, it was EMPTY. It was factory sealed... Long story short, I contacted the seller he reluctantly informed me that he has had 2 of the same instances in the last few weeks.

Welp there has been a huge uptick in firearm & firearm accessory purchases so QC hits should be kind of expected. Who keeps them to a minimum & handles them the best will be key now

Counterfeit sights and optics have become a problem. Mf China can duplicate any and everything.
