Not to troll, but it has been great not seeing their racist nazi garbage has ceased flooding international markets. No more movies about us being half human, half less evolved species like a spider that gives us superior abilities. Yeah the character is white but he is seen playing sports dominated by us.

Another entity stealing content from us, forcing us into watching their nonsense. Along with Youtube, the are also apart of this nonsense I wrote about with social media.

This is one Union that I am rooting against.

Honestly that's not on SAG. That's about the mandates the studios want in the pitch room. But I agree it's trash

I have fools from the industry come up to me with this schizophrenic rationalization for all their theft of my work. Foolio, I don't want nothing to do with you, I don't care how much money you have or could offer me.

SAG-AFTRA also secured "consent and compensation guardrails" on the use of AI.

Under the new contract's rules, a studio must obtain an actor's informed consent before creating or using a digital replica of a performer — whether they're an A-list star or a background actor.

Crabtree-Ireland told reporters that AI was one of the most divisive issues in the negotiating room, particularly with regards to "generative AI," or the creation of an entirely synthetic performer.

"That was the piece that came together on the very last day, on day 118 of the strike," he explained. "We feel that there is a robust and comprehensive set of protections for our members against the implementation of AI in the industry. It allows the industry to go forward. It does not block AI, but it makes sure that performers are protected, their rights to consent are protected, and their rights to fair compensation and employment are protected."

Some folks are saying this is gonna affect jobs because people who don't agree to have their likeness used just won't get cast. That's fucked up if true.
