Because it goes against what we know think about Daemon so far. He only thinks and cares about his own ambitions. They probably filmed multiple version of Daemon but went with the version who doesn't seem to care about anything.

Dude, your talking about who's "likeable" in a world of corruption. Other people want one on one battle scenes with sickly bit characters when this isn't an action show.

None of your points make sense when 9/10 people love the show. Original book readers like the show. Most hardcore fan like the show. The only people crying are normally anti social people that to like shit that doesn't cater to there every want and need.

This is why shows were the audience interacts with the show would be perfect for you. Just like your favorite porn you can get all the good parts and fast foward what you don't like.

The problem with this is that GOT catered to the fragile fans who wanted more of the witty characters who didn't have shit to lose because they weren't big part of the original books.

This is why GOT and Star Wars sucks. Catering to vocal fans who don't have a purpose is what made both universes make zero sense. If it was up to you snowflakes, likeable Luke never gets his hand cut off by Vader. Crying ass snokeflake nerds are the reason John Boyega got his role reduced in the last trilogy to the detriment of the franchise.

The ONLY, and I do mean only value that character had was to further the rift between the houses. That's it. He is 100% irrelevant to the story otherwise. You'll never hear about him again.

He's not really an antagonist. He's a minor, background character. Daemon killing him wasn't the point. His death is largely irrelevant to the main narrative of the show. The point was Deamon not wanting his brother's help. The payoff will be how this affects his alliance with Corlys and his rift with his brother.

I don't know man they were battling dude for 3 years, a few minutes dialogue and fight scene would be respectful

i am surprised some people are bored with the show.

i think that the first 3 episodes have been pretty good. the first episode started slow but that is to be expected with any show because they have to introduce characters and set up plot lines.

i also appreciate them not spending time on daemon vs crab feeder fight. it was only going to be routine anyway. the outcome was obvious and the show runners chose not to waste time on it.

if people are still bored 3 eps in you likely need to move on. i am glued to the set. it is a great show with good writing, spectacular visuals and awesome sound.

this has been relativly poorly written

I already know this story and these characters from reading books... so I see where they are taking the audience
but this show is not doing a good job of developing the various arcs

I find it hard to believe GRRM really sat in / consulted the writers room
