He hates the church, as do I, I make no apologies about that. When I was ready to settle down, I knew a holy roller wasn't on the list. My wife of 25 years, although she's spiritual, she also thinks the church is bullshit, so we good. I find it to be the acme of foolishness to get serious about a religious broad, if you're not into it. That's a tug-of-war you ain't gonna win. If she's TRULY into the church like he says, here's how this plays out: Either he's going have to change his feelings on church, which doesn't seem likely, or he's gonna have to face the hell of:
1. "How come your man don't come to church with you?"
2. "Why are you with a man that don't believe in the Word?"
3. "You can't fully commit to God, because the man you love is pulling you in the other direction."
4. Then one day, she hits him with the "I need a man that's equally yoked!" song & dance.
