Is DJ Envy (aka Individual #1) a real estate scammer?

People can say anything. I trust nobody

Naw, I agree 100% that's why it's important for people to do their due diligence before making a series investment...

I think what's different from this dude and all the other real estate investors is that's not his main revenue generator....Dude has:

1. Security Company - leverage his skills as a police officer and his brother who was a state trooper to start their own firm vs. working for another firm.
2. Real Estate - side hustle that he just grew
3. Day Care Center - noticed a need with fellow officers that needed to work crazy hours but didn't have day care service. His fellow officers of course trusted him and that was instant credibility.. Wife overseas that business...

I know EYL has had alot of scammers on their show, but they also had some legit folks on their also....

I just think his story is more relataeble (being a former police officer) and his strategy can be employed by most people....Don't quick your job and use your salary to invest in your business...

You have to do your due diligence where you invest hundreds of thousands of dollars. Even when I used to do daytrading to research the hell out of the companies I bought Stocks from

Cesar leveraged Envy's credibility with his audience.... like a good conman..... but Envy has come culpability..... that stank doesn't just go away
Cesar = credit card hustler.. envy= a bitch that works as a cashier in retail... Cesar let envy know he can make a lot of money with all them credit cards they swipe everyday at their store, that they can make a lot of money with that info if they pass it on. Envy liked the sound of all that extra money.. that's what this is

I agree with you on some levels, but on another level envy knew this shit was rotten to the core, but he loved the money.

One of the victims said that in an interview.

It took him 15/20 yrs something wild to come up with $100/$150K.....Caesar said bring cash, he had it in a brown paper bag, gave it to Cesar....
Ole boy said Cesar said Thanks and took the bag, never counted it and then they went their separate ways.....

Red flags all over that story! But if a mfkr ask for 6 figures in cash AND THEN DOESN'T COUNT IT??!!!

Aye TAKE YOUR MFKN MONEY BACK THAT INSTANT!!
This is what I think is the street part of things. I knew nuff street dudes in my day that had cash all day like that, would of def paid him a "visit" if he didn't return their bread.
Issue also is no street dude is gonna come forward saying I gave this fool $100k.

But he gonna have to explain how he deposited this cash this time, then this other time and so on and so forth.

I'm just waiting for the "It's bigger than Nino Brown moment." They been at it since 2017/18. Caesar was saying he had up to 3,000 houses and was worth over 50 mill in a 13 year span after getting out of prison around 2006. Not saying you can't do it, BUT you would be THE real estate success story. But we all know by now that there is more to this. When there are goons showing up at folks houses, and DEA is involved, you know this story is about to take some wild turns. We need to make a Tubi movie out of this.

For anyone who lives in or around in that area, can what they did affect the fluctuation in price in the housing market? With all of the elements involved in pulling a scheme like this. I can't imagine a group of people doing this can fly under the radar with raising any eyebrows unless the money flowing into the adjacent businesses that are involv d with real estate was enough to be okay with what is happening until the wheels fall off.
