Usually vs other primer guards like Harden, and Westbrook, Curry is able to peel off of them and not be challenge with the other guards, but with the Cavs they have physical guards who offer no breaks for Curry. Kerr took Curry out in the game (illegally) after the review of the shot clock violation, to bring in Livingston on defense to help out vs Irving.

If you are questioning Kerr's substitutions for the game then he better do a lot better in the finals if they meet, because I think that both Curry and Durant can be worn down with physical play especially when you make them play hard defense and this may be the reason why Durant tends to historically fall off in the 4th and why Curry numbers vs Irving is always down.
I know they want to shorten their bench vs the Cavs but if they do and make it into a war of attrition, who are you going to favor in a long series?

I get the logic behind "wearing them down" but the thing is they get their minutes on the bench. Kerr almost appears to pride himself on the fact that he can go long stretches with his star players on the bench. There are times when they have all the momentum and instead of closing the game out he puts in the second-tier players and gives them real minutes. Leads disappear. Rhythm is lost and his arrogance has led him to believe that his players can simply go out and establish things all over again. I know I'm rambling but I don't like the substitutions being made. Give the starters a few minutes here and there on the bench and let them match up.....

Teams are aware what they trying to do.
In the previous years teams were overwhelmed with the movement and shooting displays. Now those same plays are made, teams know what's coming now. Kyrie damn near had a triple double with 7 steals(2 or 3 was results of reads).

Team have adjusted to Lebron's cross court passes over the previous years.
At one point it's seemed like he connected on that shit every time. That was because that was something you're taught early on, you never make that pass. This fucker had should strength, vision and ball speed he got away with it. Defenders are now aware of it, so it's often picked off.

I felt it's a fucking shame as to how many back door passes the Dubs got. The deep ball does kill you, but damn sag off the ball some TT, pressure that ball some Jefferson(or whomever was guarding west), damn why y'all don't keep they hands up in passes lanes(when y'all do, the ball is often tipped)...



But as tated yesterday, that was a damn great game. It had the highest rating for that time slot in years(maybe 9 years)!!!

Good job NBA....

It's a good match up. It'll be interesting come playoffs. Truth is you can't dismiss the Spurs in a seven game series. You just don't know....

very solid points bro; his substitutions are not good at times; sometimes he overrates his system; they should have been more pic and rolls to punish love; but at the end of the day, GS turn the ball over 3 times after being up 3 in the last fucking min of the game!!!!!!!!!
