I'm a FAN of Joe and he has.had INSANE skills...
but he could never just DO a song...that dude was so damn passionate about his music I think that was his detriment too.

Nah...some people grasp people attention using diff avenues better than others...you could be a serious actor but a certain comedic role is what people know you for or the 1 that stood out and memorable to them.. Joe has some good tracks it's juss people care more about his off record life than his own record... Like when he posting the diff chicks he was fucking at 1 time.. Nigs cared more about tahiri and ester Baxter than whatever song he was releasing...even if you wasn't a joe budde n fan you liked his taste in women..that's when Joe the character started overshadowing Joe the rapperAnd why is that???? pump it up was his commercial hit but he has lots of other tracks people like that weren't commercial... It's like if Chris Tucker only had rush hour as his only major commercial release but Friday was a straight to dvd movie...people who only know Chris as rush hour would only talk about that series while his fans would talk about friday, money talks, def comedy jam etc

no...they can’t...I imagine it’s not that easy but still some rappers have tried to do so via twitter IG etc. but you hit the nail on the head tho...budden is retired...em is past his prime...I’m not really excited about a battle between them...this ain’t drake and pusha type shit...em more than likely would not respond...this is more about regaining relevance for him than battling (he’s never really went hard @ a real MC) and again budden has more ppl checking for his podcast than for his music...outside of hardcore hip hop fans ppl are just looking for something to talk about this week
