Off and on the record, the artists who speak highly of him are speaking about his skill level. I can't see Rakim listening to an Eminem album, but he's heard enough to respect his lyrical ability.

This. Plus alot of us have this thing where we go too far in showing benevolence to race. We don't want to appear racist so we overrate white guys that do the same thing as bruthas. I see this in sports alot. In street basketball "The Professor" was just a street ball player with handles. There is a whole bunch of street ballers with handles but "The Professor" real novelty was that he was a white guy. The same can be said for Jason "White Chocolate" Williams. When you look at his stats he was mediocre. Our entertainers really embraced Justin Timberlake as an "artist" even though he is an average dancer and average singer. Bruthas act like Kim Kardashian is gorgeous. Act like JLO was the first chick in the US with a phat ass. As a people we often overrate and embrace mediocre white talent.
Other cultures don't do this. Venus and Serena weren't embraced until they excelled in Tennis until they couldn't be denied. Tiger Woods excelled in Golf until he couldn't be denied. Even though these people are dominant, the best in tennis and golf aren't out there saying Serena and Tiger are the GOATS.Country isn't overrating the Black Country singers.

He not even feeding the pack, I haven't heard a song with Em and those boys, and they got a real movement. I may have missed a song or snippet with him on a track with them. After watching the entire podcast Joe got lot of real valid points. Jay, Ross, 50, were or are huge artist and let who they signed stand next to them. Slaughter house was DOPE, and he didnt pull that off. Got these young boys and seems to be the same.

All that being said I know you are a fan but don't let that blind you from the aforementioned.

that's why i wanted to hear what that sh with just executive producing it would sound like. they all said it's done. em like his beats a certain way which i'm not a fan off. regardless who's producing for him, it will sound like eminem production.
